A kitchen in Westbrook. Five stages, one project. 👇

1. The fire. It started at the stove. Cabinets gone, ceiling joists exposed, the refrigerator black with soot.
2. The smoke. Two rooms away, in a living room where nothing burned, every surface was under a uniform layer of grey. That's what people don't expect — the fire stays where it starts, the smoke doesn't.
