There’s so much to look forward to as we head into June!
This week brings a lot of entertainment and art into our Downtown. The F.M. Kirby Center presents two opportunities to be entertained - on both Saturday and Sunday. The NEPA Philharmonic will take the stage on Saturday evening for its Season of Discovery Grand Finale, and you won't want to miss it.
The Pride Flag will be raised on Public Square Friday morning to kick off Pride Month in Downtown Wilkes-Barre. Be sure to check out the other activities taking place this month for Pride!
Knot Just Any Day Photography is hosting their first of three "In Search of Basics" workshop this Sunday. Capture any moment successfully and learn from the expertise of the KJAD Crew.
Don't forget about the multitude of ways to get active in our Downtown. Yoga, Tai Chi, and biking are just some of the offerings you can find to de-stress and move your body.
Expect our center city to come alive with activities and events this month! Be sure to visit our restaurants and retail shops when you attend these events.
Everyone wants to see a more beautiful, and vibrant Downtown – but did you know that YOU can help make it happen? On this Thursday, June 1st, NEPA Gives provides our region with a wonderful opportunity to support their favorite local non-profit organization. We hope that you will consider a donation to DCP’s efforts to improve our center city and make it a clean, safe, and beautiful destination – a point of pride for our ENTIRE region.
