🍂 **Late-Season Salt Pool Reminder!**

While Maverick enjoys his float, he wanted us to remind you that as temperatures cool down and swimming slows down, your pool’s chlorine demand can drop significantly — but your salt system may still be producing chlorine.

This is a good time of year to **dial back your salt cell and keep a close eye on your water chemistry.** Depending on your pool, water temperature and chlorine level, there may even be periods when the salt cell can be turned off entirely.

Remember, a salt system produces chlorine — it doesn’t know how much chlorine your pool actually needs. That’s why regular water testing and adjustment is still important, even when the pool looks crystal clear.

Running your salt cell harder than necessary can lead to unnecessarily high chlorine levels and puts additional operating hours on the cell.

As we move into cooler weather:

• Test your free chlorine regularly
• Reduce your salt-cell output as chlorine demand drops
• Continue monitoring pH and overall water balance
• Don't assume the setting that worked in July is right for October

A little adjustment now can help keep your water balanced and avoid over-chlorinating your pool late in the season.

**When the weather changes, your pool settings should change with it!**
