Y’all have gone above and BEYOND! We are truly in shock and are so blown away by this community and the outpouring of love for Beck and his family! Thank you to every donor from our fundraiser as well as the collab with House of Pilates, and those who gave outside of the fundraisers!

We hope y’all truly understand how life changing this will be for the Cammarata Family. You have shown how God can show up through others and that good things can still happen in these dark times. May God bless your generosity and kindness ♥️

💚Help the Cammarata Family Get an Accessible Vehicle for Their Son, Beck💚

Beck is a determined Apalachee High School student living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) — a progressive neuromuscular disease that affects mobility, breathing, and heart function. As Duchenne progresses, safe and accessible transportation becomes essential, not optional.

Right now, the Cammarata family cannot transport Beck’s power wheelchair, meaning he must leave it at school and rely on less supportive options outside the classroom. Every outing requires breaking down equipment, lifting heavy chairs, and packing everything into a vehicle with little room to spare.

Despite these challenges, Beck remains deeply involved in school life — managing sports teams, traveling when possible, and staying active in the community. But transportation limitations make even simple activities exhausting and complicated.

An accessible vehicle would change everything.

It would allow Beck to travel safely in his power chair, reduce physical strain on his family, eliminate the need for trailers, and give him the independence he’s working toward — including the dream of driving himself one day.

The family needs to raise $38,000 through the Jett Foundation’s Accessible Vehicle Fund. Once their goal is reached, Jett Foundation will cover the remaining cost and help deliver a van that will support Beck now and for years to come.

Beck is one of the brightest souls at Apalachee High School and is living proof of his family's love and dedication to not only Beck, but to every person diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The Cammarata family founded Beck's Helping Hands with 4 main goals in mind: handicap accessibility, loaner equipment, emotional/correspondence support and funding research. They have helped countless others in the DMD community for years and now, it's our honor to give back to them.
