hey yall just wanted to come on here with an update on this chattys “Green face” process.

today will be two days she has sat in the sun with the acne cream and saran wrap cover. the difference can easily be seen in the before and after photo.

in the regular pictures, i have increased the definition of the pictures so you can see more of the “patchiness” of the green color and how it is disappearing. so far it has thankfully not affected or faded any of her facial features like her lips, eyebrows or freckles. even her eye color is still a beautiful, bright vivid blue.

so far im extremely ecstatic how the process is going and cant wait so see how she looks in another two days!

ok yall im trying this again for only the second time in my life. the first time i attempted to rid a chatty head of her “green face” it ended up fading her perfectly colored pink lips and part of her freckles. it did indeed get rid of the “green face” tho and brought back her beautiful peachy coloring to her face.

this doll i got from a friend of mine recently. as you can see her face is very much green and not pretty and peachy like her limbs.

i was told i needed the acne “CLEANSING” cream and not the normal cream. this cream also has the 10% benzoyl peroxide. so i applied it to her face and then covered in saran wrap (as ive seen others do with staining on various dolls) and set her in the sun to start the process. i know it will take a couple times of doing this but hopefully this time works better than the first.

im not too worried about any fading as her lips, freckles and brows are already kind of faded.

three new members added to the collection today!! LA velvet has a broken screw holder so one side is loose. looks like it was attempted to be glued at one point. she still works tho! VIDEO IN THE COMMENTS!

crissy with the blue dress has a broken string on her ponytail so it was shortened to create a new knot so her ponytail appears cut but i dont think it actually is. i’m probably just going to replace that tail but unsure yet.

This little “bubbles” baby is complete and ready to be displayed with her two big sisters. 💙

it was a VERY tedious process cleaning her face as using just about anything to clean any porcelain doll will take off the delicate face paint. i had to be extremely careful when cleaning her face. i used a small drop of dawn dish soap and a very soft microfiber cloth with the LEAST amount of pressure possible. anything more would have removed every spec of facial coloring/paint like her blush, lips, eyebrows and painted lashes. i had to use a soft toothbrush to get into the tight crevices of her face like her lips and around her nose.

i did not wash/condition her hair but i did brush it out using my well known mixture of water and conditioner in a small spray bottle. some of her curls could have turned out better but im happy with the outcome. i just LOVE how long this hair is! 😍

i did a little research on her and turns out she is a “Heritage Signature Collection” porcelain doll named “kammie”. i only found one single listing on ebay but a few more pictures on google. she is a cute little 10.5” sitting doll that holds a small, delicate glass bubble in her hand just like her big sisters.

im so happy im finding more dolls like my grandmas. it will be hard to resist buying every single one i see as these dolls are just too cute and pretty.

this little girl was very filthy but im glad i found her and gave her a safe place to call her new forever home 💙💙💙

a third “Bubbles” sister has been spotted in the wild and i just couldn’t leave her behind! shes so tiny and cute! she almost reminds me of a Marie Osmond “Tiny Tot” doll lmao unfortunately she is missing the little bubble she holds in her hand but im sure ill come across something similar eventually. i just love that the color of her dress is the same baby blue color as the other two. its so perfect! and just like grandmas doll, there is no markings anywhere on her. google lens was also no help lol im sure ill find one like her in about 10 years or so 😂😂😂

i am in the beginning stages of her restoration. this poor girl was incredibly filthy! i gently scrubbed and cleaned her face, arms and legs, her outfit is soaking in oxi clean over night, and am currently working on her hair.

speaking of her hair….turns out she is a brunette RAPUNZLE!! omg the length that this wig has i was NOT expecting!! holy moly! i was going to try and find her a blonde wig to make her look like the other two but honestly im OBSESSED with the long curls on her! so she is definitely keeping her dark curls. her hair is currently in the process of brushing out and sectioning and re-finger curling. shes going to look SO CUTE!!
