Monday was a bittersweet day for the GLEAM TEAM. 💜

We are so sad to see one of our teammates moving but we are also grateful for the time we shared, the memories we made, and the lessons we learned from one another along the way.

Being part of a team is about more than showing up to work. It’s about growing together, supporting one another, and leaving a little piece of yourself behind. And she certainly did that with us!

While we will miss having her here, we know that life brings new seasons, new opportunities, and new beginnings. We are wishing her nothing but love, happiness, and blessings as she begins this next chapter.

My favorite, but LEAST favorite calls are the ones that start like this…

“Hey! I just closed on my home, and they told me it was cleaned before they turned over the keys, but ummm… it’s not. Do you have any availability to squeeze me in for a move-in cleaning?” 🥴

And listen, I’m always happy to help! But what disappoints me is knowing that someone is moving into their new home only to find themselves having to pay for another cleaning before they can even settle in.

And I can’t help but wonder… why are we allowing people to walk into homes that aren’t truly ready for them?

Now, let me be clear. The home may have been cleaned. But was it cleaned to the standard it deserved? No!

Here’s the thing, when you’re collecting 3–4 quotes, the company that invests in proper training, quality products, reliable employees, and attention to detail may not always be the cheapest option. And there’s a REASON for that.

I’m not going to argue my price or convince anyone why quality matters. Sometimes, the results speak for themselves.

Everybody wants to save money, and everybody is trying to make money. But how often are we willing to INVEST in doing things right the first time?

In many real estate transactions, professional cleaning may be something worth discussing with your real estate agent or closing team. Depending on the agreement, cleaning costs may be negotiable as part of the transaction.

Imagine walking into your new home knowing the details were taken care of, the space was properly cleaned, and you could focus on unpacking and enjoying this new chapter instead of calling around for a last-minute cleaning.
