*** and just like that, Friday came and went. Thank-you for all the sweet comments, best wishes and love given to Layla. We will truly miss her and wish her all the best in her full-time role at the Boys and Girls Club.
As always when someone leaves that has been with us for as long as Layla has, it'll take a moment to adapt and that is normal. Please be patient and kind as our crew transition into different roles or responsibilities. Everyone has to start somewhere and learn from the bottom up. From customer service and all it intels up until orders are picked up to scanned packages; unkind and impatient customers doesn't really help. I can assure you I am always nearby to assist or resolve an issue. We hope to continue serving you to the best of our ability for many years!

I don't even know where to start 😕. Friday, May 29th will be Layla 's last day at Spears Cleaners as she will be going to work full-time at the Boys & Girls Club. This one is very special to me and will be the hardest to see go. She was my first hire when I took over as manager 5 years ago.
She has grown from the very shy, quiet and unsure girl to the responsible, dependable and confident young lady that Spears Cleaners and I have been so blessed to have.
No matter how hectic, chaotic or blazing hot the day is... she always keeps her cool, stays calm and collective, and definitely takes care of business.
She definitely goes above and beyond to help our UPS customers with their returns process and always goes the extra mile in whatever needs to be done. From customer service, assembly line behind the scenes, to driver, covering in Childress and running errands for me!
I'm going to miss her !!!
I am definitely happy and excited for this new opportunity she has accepted and I wish her nothing but the best and I appreciate you for staying as long as you did here with me. I know Sarah is equally thrilled to have you at the Boys and Girls Club.

It's been 5 years on May 1st that I started my management position at Spears Cleaners. Everyday is a new day with all its challenges, expectations, sacrifices and a continued growth and learning experience. Last Friday I was able to step away to El Paso for the weekend; which rarely happens, and due to a flight delay...didn't make it back till Monday afternoon. And you know what, everything went just fine! I'm so proud and happy of all of Spears Cleaners crew for holding down the fort in my absence. I couldn't have gotten this far without my family for always stepping in when I need them. I appreciate every single member of our team for always showing up and always doing their best. It's not always easy but I know I can count on them.
To our customers , Thank-you! Without you there wouldn't be a Spears Cleaners. We appreciate your understanding and patience when things don't always go as planned due to unforseen circumstances.

May is the month of birthdays at Spears Cleaners! My own Cinco de Mayo baby turned 17 today. I'm so proud and appreciative of her , not only as a Mother but also as her Manager.
