A little more than just a cleaning company… 🐝💛

When I started Busy Bee’s Cleaning LLC, I never could have imagined how much this little business would become a part of my life—or how much this community would become a part of it.

This summer has been one I will never forget.
Between my regular clients who have continued to trust me year after year, welcoming new families and businesses into the Busy Bee’s family, taking on new commercial work, helping with smoke-damage cleanup in homes and rentals, and doing my best to help wherever I can after the Mukluk Fire… it has been A LOT. 😅❤️
Some days I'm a business owner.
Some days I'm a cleaner.
Some days I'm helping coordinate things for families who have lost so much.
Some days I'm a mom.
Some days I'm a wife.
And most days… I'm somehow trying to be all of them at once. 😂

But through all of it, Tok has continued to show up.
The support, referrals, kind words, new clients, old clients, businesses that trust me with their spaces, people who have donated, volunteered, checked in, shared my posts, or simply said "keep going"—I don't take any of it for granted.

Thank you. Truly. 🥹

I love this little community. I love the people in it. And I'm incredibly proud to call Tok home.

And now, somehow, after everything this summer has brought… Busy Bee’s is officially wearing its very first merch. 🐝👑💛

From cleaning homes and businesses, to helping our neighbors through one of the hardest seasons we've faced—this business has become about so much more than cleaning for me.

IMPORTANT DONATION UPDATE — MUKLUK WILDFIRE RELIEF

Our relief effort has grown into something much bigger than we ever expected. 💛

Because of that, things are changing.

As winter shelters become built, available & delivered; we’re working hard to get families placed as quickly as possible. Until then, we’re doing everything we can to provide temporary housing and bridge that gap, so no family is left without a safe place to go. The incredible efforts, generosity, and teamwork we’re seeing from this community have been absolutely unbelievable. 🥹💛🐝

At this time, we are NO LONGER accepting clothing donations or large amounts of random/general donations. Please do not bring unsolicited donations to Tok Mini Storage or the Hockey Rink.
I know this may be different from what you’ve seen in our earlier posts, and I hope you understand why.

I am now personally working through each individual family affected by the Mukluk wildfire. I am sitting down with families, learning what they actually need, and creating specific, individual lists for each household as temporary and the arctic shelters becoming built and delivered.
That means when the time comes to help a family, we can match the right donations to the right people — instead of overwhelming families with things they may not have room for or need.

❤️ THERE WILL BE A TIME TO HELP.
And when that time comes, we will know exactly what is needed and where it needs to go.

We WILL still need supplies as this process continues.

💥But please CALL OR MESSAGE FIRST before purchasing or dropping off donations so we can keep everything as organized as possible.

I am serving as the lead coordinator for this relief effort, and I will work with you to document your family's specific needs and connect those needs with available donations.

We now have specific, updated request lists from affected families. If you would like to donate, please reach out BEFORE bringing donations so we can make sure what you have is actually needed.

Many families are going to need cleaning supplies as they begin recovering, rebuilding and rentals.

Some families do not have anywhere to store their belongings yet, so sturdy storage totes are especially helpful.

For families who need temporary covered storage and protection from the weather.

Please hold off on general clothing donations for now. We will need it later!
We have specific clothing needs from families and will let you know what sizes/items are needed.
