Memorial Day.

Today is not about cookouts, sales, vacations, or cold beer.

Today is about sacrifice.

It's about the sons and daughters who never came home.

The husbands who kissed their wives goodbye and never held them again. The wives who were left to raise children alone. The mothers and fathers who received a knock at the door that changed their lives forever. The brothers, sisters, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who have spent years carrying an empty seat at the table and a hole in their hearts.

These men and women walked before us so that we could live the lives we have today. Many were sent into wars they did not choose, fighting battles they did not start. Yet they answered the call anyway. They carried a burden most of us will never understand because they believed they were protecting those they loved from the evil and uncertainty of this world.

Today, while we enjoy our freedom, somewhere a mother is remembering her child. A wife is remembering her husband. Children are remembering a parent they lost far too soon. Families are visiting graves instead of sharing another holiday together.

The cost of freedom has always been paid in blood, tears, and sacrifice.

Jesus Himself said, "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends." — John 15:13

And Psalm 116:15 reminds us, "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints."

Today, let us remember those who gave everything and the families who continue to carry that sacrifice every single day. Let us honor not only the fallen warriors, but also the loved ones they left behind.

May we never take for granted the freedoms purchased at such a great cost.

To every fallen service member: You are remembered.

To every Gold Star family: You are not forgotten.

And to those brave warriors who gave their tomorrow so we could have today—thank you. You deserved so much more than a single day of remembrance.

ā€œOH… YOU JUST CLEAN HOUSES.ā€

I heard those words yesterday.

And to some people, it may sound like what I do is simple. But after 14 years of running my own cleaning business, I can confidently say this work is anything but ā€œjust cleaning.ā€

Cleaning professionally is physically demanding, mentally exhausting, and requires incredible discipline.

It means:
• Working through pain and fatigue when you’re not feeling 100%
• Managing your time down to the minute
• Paying attention to every detail
• Reaching, bending, squatting, twisting, and stretching all day long
• Sweating, lifting, and pushing your body to its limits
• Maintaining a high standard of excellence in every home

This is not just wiping counters and mopping floors.

This is a trade that requires endurance, consistency, strength, and dedication.

Over the years, I’ve hired many people who thought cleaning would be easy. Most didn’t make it a week. Some didn’t even come back the next day.

Why?

Because not everyone is willing to put in the physical effort, mental focus, and heart that this profession demands.

Cleaning is an act of service. It brings peace, order, and comfort into people’s homes. It allows families to rest and enjoy their space. And when done with excellence, it is honorable work.

So never let anyone diminish what you do for a living.

Whether you clean homes, care for others, build something with your hands, or serve in any other way—your work matters.

I run my business by this verse:

ā€œAnd whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.ā€
— Colossians 3:23–24

I don’t ā€œjust clean houses.ā€

I serve others with excellence, integrity, and devotion.

And I do it unto the Lord. ā¤ļø

šŸ’ Happy Mother’s Day to All Amazing Moms šŸ’

For the past 14 years, one of the greatest blessings of my cleaning business has been the opportunity to serve mothers and families in our community.
As a single mom myself, I know firsthand how overwhelming life can feel. Between caring for children, managing a home, working, and carrying responsibilities that often go unseen, moms give so much of themselves every single day. The work of a mother is constant, sacrificial, and deeply meaningful.
That is why it has become one of my greatest purposes to help lighten that load.
There is something so special about walking into a home and being able to provide peace, order, and relief to a hardworking mom. Knowing that my services can give a mother more time to rest, enjoy her children, or simply breathe for a moment is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
Over the years, I have been continually inspired by the strength, resilience, and love I see in the mothers I serve. Your dedication to your families, your perseverance through challenges, and your willingness to keep going even when you are exhausted is truly remarkable.
I want every mom to know that your work matters, even when it feels unnoticed.
Most importantly, God sees every sacrifice you make.
"Her children rise up and call her blessed." — Proverbs 31:28
"She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue." — Proverbs 31:26
"God is within her, she will not fall." — Psalm 46:5
"The Lord bless you and keep you." — Numbers 6:24
To all the mothers I have had the privilege to serve over the last 14 years: thank you for allowing me into your homes and into your lives. Thank you for inspiring me with your strength, faith, and unconditional love.
You are doing holy work, and the Lord sees every act of service, every prayer, every tear, and every sacrifice.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms. You are deeply appreciated, abundantly loved, and wonderfully made. šŸŒ·šŸ’–

I want to take a moment to address something that’s been on my heart as a service provider in the cleaning industry for over 14 years. ā¤ļø
When I schedule a first-time clean, I always set clear expectations: these initial cleans often take longer because I’m bringing a home up to a detailed standard before transitioning into maintenance cleans. Every home is different, and time estimates are always based on what is visible at the time of booking.
I also believe strongly in open communication. I do my best to set realistic expectations based on each individual home and situation so there are no surprises. I am not in the business of taking advantage of anyone or inflating costs with unnecessary add-ons. My pricing and time estimates are based on the actual work required and the condition of the home.
Recently, I was reminded how important it is to work with clients who respect both the process and the professional providing the service. I take pride in my work. I show up on time, I stay focused, and I put in long hours on my feet to make sure the job is done thoroughly and with care.
That said, mutual respect matters.
I understand that cleaning services are a luxury for many people, and I never take that lightly. But professionalism goes both ways—clear communication, realistic expectations, and respectful dialogue are non-negotiable for me.
Because of this, I’ve made the decision to be more intentional moving forward about who I take on as clients. If expectations shift in a way that doesn’t align with how I run my business, I am fully okay with stepping away.
I care deeply about the quality of my work and the peace I operate in while doing it. I will continue serving clients who value that same standard.
Thank you to those who continue to support and respect small business owners like myself. šŸ™ƒ

It's the smallest things in life that warm my heart. Cleaning on a Saturday is never fun, but when your appreciated for what you do, these lil gestures just warm my soul.
These are little gifts from God.
To encourage me and help me to feel loved.
I cherish what I get to do everyday.
ā¤ļø
I pray my light shines in your life as much as you all do in mine. Thank you for a purpose Lord. Bless all the families I get to help every single day. āœļøšŸ„°

🚫 The Truth About Bleach Most People Don’t Talk About
We’ve been taught that bleach = clean… but that’s not the full story.
āš ļø Bleach is a harsh chemical (sodium hypochlorite) that can: • Irritate your lungs when inhaled
• Trigger asthma or breathing issues
• Burn or irritate your skin and eyes
• Release toxic fumes—especially if mixed with other cleaners
āŒ Mixing bleach with ammonia or vinegar can create dangerous gases.
🦠 About mold (this part matters): Spraying bleach on mold doesn’t always solve the problem—especially on porous surfaces.
It can actually disturb mold and release spores into the air, which you can inhale. That can irritate your sinuses, trigger allergies, and worsen respiratory symptoms.
šŸ‘‰ Plus, bleach doesn’t always pe*****te deeply enough to kill mold at the root—so it can come back.
šŸ‘¶ Extra caution around: • Kids
• Pets
• Anyone with asthma or sensitivities
🌿 Safer everyday options: • Soap + water
• Hydrogen peroxide (for disinfecting)
• Vinegar (on certain surfaces — never mix with bleach)
šŸ’” Bleach has its place for serious disinfection—but daily use in your home isn’t always necessary.
Clean doesn’t have to mean toxic.

He made little sense, but I knew exactly what he meant. We ā¤ļø when Sara makes our house sparkle! 😘
I think it’s neat what an impact you have on the kids’ wellbeing too. šŸ¤—

This message meant more to me than I can explain.

I’m sharing this because this is what I’m about. This is who you’re hiring to care for your home.

I’ve been cleaning for this family for over 10 years now, and getting to watch the kids grow, talk with them, make their beds, and organize their spaces—it’s become something really special to me. It’s more than just cleaning. It’s being part of a small piece of their everyday life.

When I started this business 14 years ago, I was just trying to make money. I was a single mom raising three kids, doing whatever I could to keep the bills paid, food on the table, and a roof over our heads. There were times in the beginning when even that felt like a struggle.

But over the years, this has become so much more than a job.

It’s something I truly care about. A passion. A gift I don’t take lightly.

I’ve realized what I bring into a home isn’t just a clean space—it’s peace, clarity, and comfort. It’s helping families feel better in their own environment. Even if it doesn’t stay perfect, just having that reset can make such a difference mentally and emotionally.

This work is not easy. It’s physically hard, and some days I really have to push myself. Some days I’m exhausted, and yes—sometimes I even cry. But I still show up. Because I know it matters.

I know how much trust it takes to let someone into your home. It can feel stressful and uncertain. There are a lot of people out there who treat this work like it’s just about money—rushing through, missing things, or charging extra for every little task.

I’m not perfect, but I do my best to be consistent, reliable, and someone my clients can truly trust. I value being welcomed into people’s personal spaces, and I carry that responsibility with me every day.

Some people say, ā€œWhy don’t you get a real job?ā€

But this is real to me.

This is creating peace in someone’s home.
This is helping families feel more at ease.
This is supporting health, comfort, and wellbeing.
This is how I’ve been able to provide for my children and build a life we didn’t always have.

We may not take big vacations or travel often, but our bills are paid, there’s food on the table, and I’m incredibly grateful for that.

And messages like this… they remind me that even on the days I feel worn out, what I do truly matters. ā¤ļø
