You guys…

We launched Fill the Bucket THIS MORNING and we already have 40 of 150 bubbles filled!!
That’s $800 toward our Compassion Clean goal in ONE DAY 😭🫶

I knew you guys would show up because you always do… but this is freaking crazy. 😂❤️

We’re filling this bucket WAY faster than I expected!

THANK YOU. Seriously.

🫧 40 Bubbles filled
🫧 110 still available
20$ a bubble for a chance to win a QUARTER BEEF 🫶
🪣 LETS GOOOO!

Hiiiiii 👋☺️

I probably thought WAY too long and hard about this.... that’s kinda my way 🤷‍♀️🙃

I bounced around about 47 different ideas for how to do this raffle. Because it’s Compassion Clean, part of me really wanted to do $5 chances so literally anyone could participate. I thought about splitting the meat. I thought about different entry amounts. I thought about ALLLLL of it.

Here’s the thing… I also have to actually be able to keep track of this thing and I have A LOT going on 🙃 (not complaining 😂)

So we’re keeping it SIMPLE.
🫧 150 bubbles
🫧 $20 per bubble
🫧 Each bubble = one chance to win

Buy one. Buy five. Buy however many you want! Once all 150 bubbles are filled, we draw THREE winners!

🥩 GRAND PRIZE — QUARTER BEEF
If we fill the bucket before October 2nd, the winner will actually get to choose how they want their beef cut!

🐷 SECOND PRIZE — COOLER OF PORK
This is already processed and will be a little bit of everything — breakfast sausage, loins, shoulders, bacon, some chops, etc. Basically a freezer starter pack. 😂

🧹 THIRD PRIZE — $100 SUDS, LLC GIFT CARD
Molly Helms has been nothing but supportive of Compassion Clean pretty much from the minute we ran into each other, and when she saw what we were doing, she immediately offered to throw in a $100 Suds, LLC gift card so we could have a third winner. 🥹❤️

And the BEST part…

If we fill all 150 bubbles, that’s $3,000 raised for Compassion Clean. 😭❤️ THAT IS 120 HOURS OF CLEANING!!!

This farmer is changing lives, y’all. 🥹

There is a processing cost for the donated meat, but everything remaining goes straight back into Compassion Clean and allows us to keep helping with the homes we’re already maintaining AND start getting to some of the families sitting in my inbox waiting for help.

I know $20 isn’t nothing, and I know not everyone has an extra $20 to spend. But I wanted to keep it low enough that hopefully a lot of people can participate, while also keeping this manageable enough that I can actually run it on top of all the other things! 😂

LET’S FILL MY MOP BUCKET WITH BUBBLES!!! 🪣🫧🫧🫧

Venmo:
Cash App: $itsataylorthing
PayPal: paypal.me/qtpietay
Cash or check is absolutely fine too!

Please put your NAME + RAFFLE in the payment note so I don’t lose my mind trying to keep track of everybody. 😂❤️

$20 = 1 bubble/chance • $40 = 2 • $100 = 5

Let’s freaking do this. 🥹❤️ Yay kindness! 🙌🫶

Okayyyy… I was NOT prepared for this one. 😂❤️

A local farmer messaged me today and offered to donate a QUARTER BEEF AND A COOLER OF PORK to help raise money for Compassion Clean.

Like… doll... You just showed up in my inbox with an entire farm. 😭😂

The meat is being completely donated! I just have to cover the processing.

Now I need you guys to help me decide how we do this!

🥩 A — Quarter beef first, pork later
🐷 B — Pork first, beef later
🔥 C — Raffle BOTH at the same time with TWO winners
🤪 D — GO BIG OR GO HOME: one winner takes EVERYTHING

Drop A, B, C or D in the comments!

Apparently we have officially entered the livestock era of Compassion Clean. 😂❤️

And seriously...THANK YOU to the incredibly generous family who offered this. I am continually blown away by the ways this community shows up for this program!

Beef won't be ready till Oct. 2 so we have time!

Since we were back in Polo on Sunday, I figured it was the perfect time to pull out a Polo throwback. ❤️

I’ve had a TON of requests for time-lapse cleaning videos, so here you go! 😂

This is about an hour of work condensed into just 30 seconds!
And yes... I really do move around that much. 😂🧹

Should I start doing more of these?!

❤️ Sponsor hours in the comments!

Thanks again Midwest Disposal for donating the dumpster 🫶

Sometimes all you have to do is mention that someone needs a little help. ❤️

A few days ago, Mary overheard me talking about how the yard at our Polo Compassion Clean had gotten pretty overgrown again and that I was thinking about putting a little team together to tackle it.

She immediately offered to volunteer her time... and then showed up today with two friends. ❤️

Four people. Four hours. 16 completely volunteered hours later... LOOK AT IT. 🥹

I grabbed drinks and supplies before we started, and about an hour into the clean, someone sent a donation that covered what I'd pulled out for everything. ❤️ Dalton even got our new wheelbarrow put together and ready for its first Compassion Clean adventure. Cause I was not the one for the job 🙃🤦‍♀️

Sometimes Compassion Clean really is just one person saying, "Hey, I'll help." And then other people do too.

Today was one of those days. ❤️

Thank you Mary, Toby, and Nathaniel! No way could I have done that alone 🫶

❤️ Meet John David

John reached out to me after seeing one of my original Compassion Clean posts in the Sterling/Rock Falls community.
He explained what was going on in his life, and in my opinion, this one was an emergency clean.

Months ago, John's wife went into the hospital. He expected her to come home.
She still hasn't.
She's getting better every day and is now in Dixon doing physical therapy, but John has spent the last few months trying to navigate life without the person who normally navigates it beside him, all while dealing with his own health struggles.

When she first went into the hospital, there was a bunch of paperwork John needed and couldn't find. So he started pulling stuff out. A box at a time. A stack at a time. Just trying to find what he needed.
And pretty quickly, everything got overwhelming.
BUT cleaning his house wasn't his priority.
Getting to Peoria to see his wife was. ❤️

I understand that kind of brain (its how mine works). I personally cannot focus on anything important when I'm surrounded by clutter, when things aren't organized, or when I don't know where anything is.

Sometimes when you're already overwhelmed, you look around at everything that needs to be done and genuinely don't know where to start.

So Jaylah and I went in. ❤️
We spent 6.5 sponsored Compassion Clean hours at John's house giving him the reset he needed.
And these are the results. 🥹❤️

This one didn't end with the before and after pictures.
Jayla has gone back twice since the original clean and spent about an hour and a half each time helping John keep up with the dust, pick things up and keep everything from getting overwhelming again.

I'm heading back over in the next couple weeks to help him organize his pantry and a couple cupboards.

This is what Compassion Clean is about! Sometimes it's not about walking into a house, cleaning it once and leaving.

Sometimes people just need someone to keep showing up.

Nobody should have to feel alone when life turns upside down. When your partner, the person who knows where everything is and normally handles half of your everyday life, suddenly isn't there, things can unravel pretty damn fast.

I'm really glad John and I linked up. ❤️

He's a character. 😂 He likes to talk. A LOT. 😂 And I have a feeling we're going to be seeing plenty more of each other.

After our original clean, John left me a review that said:
“I couldn't imagine what it would have turned into if not for her service, dedication and care. She honestly brought hope into my life again as my wife is battling a long recovery.”
🥹❤️ And THAT is what your sponsored hours do. They give me the ability to show up for someone when life has gotten bigger than they can handle alone.

Thank you to every single person who has sponsored an hour, donated, hosted a bucket, shared a post or supported Compassion Clean.

Your help is still showing up at John's house. ❤️

Everyone officially meet Jaylah! ❤️

I figured instead of me telling you all about her, I’d let her introduce herself. 🥰

Jaylah will be my Compassion Clean helper. ❤️

One thing I’ve learned through Compassion Clean is that sometimes one big clean isn’t enough. Some of the people we help need a little continued support to keep their homes from becoming overwhelming again.
That’s where Jaylah comes in. 🥹

She’ll be going back into some of our Compassion Clean homes to help maintain the progress we’ve made and give those families a little extra ongoing support.

This also allows me to keep taking on new Compassion Clean projects while knowing the people we’ve already helped aren’t being left behind. ❤️

I’m really excited about what adding Jaylah to this little operation is going to allow us to do.
Now I’ll let her tell you a little about herself. 🫶🏼

Hi! I’m jaylah green! 🩷 I’m a hardworking, caring, and dependable person who’s always on the go. I work as a CNA/caregiver, do hair on the side, and now I’m excited to be part of the cleaning team!

I’m someone who takes pride in my work and always tries to give 100%. I’m currently working two jobs while working toward getting my own apartment and building a better future for myself. I may have a lot on my plate, but I’m always willing to work hard and keep pushing. ❤️

I’m so excited to meet new people, help make your homes feel clean and comfortable, and grow with this business! 🫶🏽
