❤️ Huge THANK YOU to everyone at Polo Fresh Food Market ❤️

I picked up the donation bin yesterday, and that one bin alone sponsored 6 full hours of Compassion Clean services! 🥹

To every single person who dropped in a dollar, some change, or whatever you could spare: thank you. Every penny truly makes a difference.

I'll be working on getting donation bins set up in Dixon in the future, but for now, the online donation links are available for anyone who wants to help.

Because of your generosity, I currently have 9 sponsored hours available for our upcoming Dixon project. I'm estimating we'll need 12 hours max, so we're getting very close! Once funding is secured, I'll be contacting the next applicant.

The need in our communities is absolutely there—we just have to keep the sponsorship funds flowing so we can continue saying “yes” to families who need a helping hand.

❤️ Just a quick update from your local cleaning lady. ❤️

I know I have several phone calls, messages, and scheduling requests to get back to, and I promise I'm working my way through them. I'm currently finalizing my July calendar and reaching out to everyone as quickly as I can.

As a reminder, Taylor Sweep Cleaning is still a one-woman show, so I truly appreciate your patience while I juggle appointments, estimates, and existing clients.

❤️ DIXON COMPASSION CLEAN UPDATE ❤️

I did the walkthrough for our next Compassion Clean yesterday.

This project is for a young family. Following a serious accident, mom was left with permanent injuries and physical limitations that have made keeping up with household tasks much more difficult.

Like many families, they're doing their best. Both parents work full-time, they're raising children, and sometimes life throws something at you that changes everything.

Our goal is to get them caught back up and help set them up for long-term success by connecting them with tools and resources that may make future upkeep more manageable. ❤️

The good news? This project is much smaller than our recent 40+ hour Polo house.

The challenge? We currently have about 7 sponsored hours available, and I'm estimating this project will need a few more hours to be completed. Not many though. This project is less about deep cleaning and more about organization, accessibility, and creating systems that make day-to-day life easier for everyone in the home.

I'll also be putting together a wishlist of practical items that may help make cleaning and organization more manageable given her physical limitations.

My start date is June 27th, and we're starting in the laundry room. 🙃

Yesterday's massage reminded me that self-care is maintenance, not a luxury 😂 My shoulder feels better, my brain feels better, and I'm pretty sure it was also a therapy session 🤷‍♀️🫣🙃 Thanks Chloe Marie 😘

I announced it on the local dixon pages but havnt here! It's time for the next Compassion Clean project. ❤️

Over the last three months, this community has helped provide 72 hours of sponsored cleaning, raising nearly $3,000 to help families throughout the Sauk Valley area get a fresh start.

Our next stop is Dixon.

I'll be helping a Dixon resident who suffered an injury and has been unable to keep up with the housework while recovering. The laundry piled up. The house became overwhelming. Life happened.

I currently have about 6.5 sponsored hours available for this project and several additional applications waiting for funding.

Over the next couple of weeks, you'll start seeing Compassion Clean donation buckets and flyers popping up around Dixon. If you're a local business willing to donate a little counter space, send me a message and I'll happily bring one by. ❤️

✨ DONE IN POLO ✨

Today officially wrapped up the Polo Compassion Clean ❤️

What started as a house that felt overwhelming became a 40+ hour project filled with generosity, teamwork, and a whole lot of elbow grease 🧽✨
These before & afters only tell part of the story.

This project happened because people showed up.

Thank you to every single person who donated, sponsored hours, dropped money in donation bins, shared posts, sent encouragement, volunteered time, donated supplies, hauled trash, mowed grass, handled pest control, and believed in this mission.

POLO HOUSE ❤️ | Progress Update

5.5 more sponsored hours in Polo today 🫶

Huge thank you to Lindsley Chattic for showing up again and volunteering his time and gas this morning. He tackled dishes, the tops of the fridges and cobwebs... honestly saved me at least two hours of work time. I am incredibly grateful.!.

Today’s goal was to finish…

Truthfully? I just didn’t have it in me 😅

BUT — we got a LOT done.

With Lindsley there for about 2 hours and me there for 5.5, we knocked out roughly 7–8 hours worth of work today together ❤️

Tomorrow is actual cleaning day. Ceilings walls cabinets...

The kitchen and dining room are what’s left and I have a feeling cabinets, organizing, and putting everything back together will take another 4–5 hours.
