Pet Odors? Start With the Source.

If you have pets, keeping the house smelling fresh usually starts with the things that hold onto odors — rugs, upholstery, bedding, pet beds, litter areas, and anywhere food tends to collect.

Regularly cleaning those spots will do a lot more than trying to cover everything up with fragrance.

And with fall coming up, a quick safety reminder: simmer pots are great with things like cinnamon, apples, oranges, and cloves, but NEVER boil cleaning products or mix cleaners to make your house smell good. REMEMBER: If it’s on the stove, keep an eye on it.

Don’t Wet Your Blinds.

For everyday dust, use a dry microfiber cloth or duster first. Water can turn all that dust into a gross little paste that’s much harder to clean.

Dry dusting first = faster, easier, and a much better result.

Common exceptions may be blinds close to the kitchen or bathroom where grease or hairspray/product may cause dust to stick to blinds. 😅
