As the pool season kicks off, we are so excited to help you dive into another summer of fun, relaxation, and beautiful memories. Your enjoyment is our top priority, but above all else, Hamblin Pools wants your pools to be safe.
With the opening of your pool, it is the perfect time to refresh our commitment to protecting our youngest swimmers. Water safety requires layers of protection, and staying proactive is the best way to ensure peace of mind all summer long.
Here are the essential ways to keep small children safe around your open pool:
Constant Supervision: Never leave children unattended near water, even for a moment.
Designated Watchers: Assign a specific adult as the "Water Watcher" during gatherings.
Secure Fencing: Install a four-sided fence with self-closing, self-latching gates.
Alarms Installed: Use pool, gate, or wristband alarms to alert you to unexpected entry.
Clear the Deck: Remove all toys from the pool area immediately after use.
Cover Up: Utilize certified safety covers whenever the pool is not in use.
Emergency Ready: Keep a lifesaving ring, a hook, and a phone by the poolside.
Swim Lessons: Enroll small children in age-appropriate water survival classes.
CPR Certification: Ensure parents and caregivers know CPR and basic water rescue.

Aaannnd it starts! Pool/boat owner tip…make sure you have boat suits and floats and home/Pool suits and floats! You can transfer this toxic algae into your pools! This stuff also gets in the air and when it rains can you guess where it’s going?! Yup…in your pools! Also make sure not to let those water loving cutie pooches get this all in their fur and jump in your pool either! Just be aware it’s already out there this season unfortunately! Keep those sanitizer levels up and use a preventative algaecide as well when shocking. Be sure to SCRUB those pools once a week, don’t just let those handy dandy robot vacs do it all! We are always here to help if you need us!!!

😎IT IS FINALLY POOL SEASON!😎
Hamblin Pools has been busy this winter coming up with new departments/services, customer loyalty programs and ideas to keep our customers in the know.
We have recently added “THE POOL ZONE” information board right out side the big doors as you come into the retail shop to share anything new with you all! Be sure to check it out when you come in!
We look forward to a GREAT 2026 Pool Season ahead!!!
