Change has come to our environment. This roach can inhabit conditions conducive to both Oriental & American roaches. The battle begins and these roaches are survivors due to thier ability to live in multiple habitats. We know our enemy and can still disrupt thier plan of world domination.

I recieved a call to inspect for possible bedbugs at a very nice and fairly new housing project. The owner informed me that her child was receiving bites every night. I inspected and found no signs of bedbugs. As I looked closer to see if I could identify the smaller size eggs, I noticed little mites scurrying around. Bird Mites everywhere. We were on the second floor and pigeons quickly popped up in my mind. I looked out the window and saw the adjacent homes had bird spikes at the some of the eave soffits. I asked her if she had been noticing pigeons around the areas and she said yes. After inspecting outside, I noticed an eave tile discolored by pigeon droppings and found a nesting areas under an overlapping eave soffit. Lots of f***l debris was found filling the gutters and bird mites were in the thousands. This was located right next to her sons room. We cleaned up the pigeon debris, treated for bird mites and install spiked to eliminate this areas as a nesting area. Who would have thought that tinny little bites would be due to pigeons nesting outside.
