Wishy Washy Laundromat

Wishy Washy Laundromat Hello Wishy Washers! It's been a 6-year journey of tossing around the idea of how I can make the laundry day experience better.

Inspired by the struggle at my local spot near my apartment I finally put a business plan together and just jumped in with both

Wishy Washy was designed to make laundry simpler, cleaner, and more sustainable.
Come see why people are rethinking laundry day.

Running a neighborhood laundromat means paying close attention to the things most people never have to think about, especially water.

Recently, Heather spoke before the Water Commissioners about rising city utility costs and how they impact small laundromats and the communities that rely on them every day.

As new fiscal-year rate increases approach, we’ll also need to make some adjustments here at Wishy Washy in order to continue operating sustainably and responsibly.

We know price increases are exhausting right now. We feel it too.

That’s why we believe transparency matters. We want our customers to know we’re not sitting back quietly accepting these changes — we’re actively advocating for small businesses and affordable community services while continuing to invest in a cleaner, more sustainable laundromat experience.

100% solar-powered

Wishy Washy was one of the first to bring Mr. Turtle Refill to town ♻️
Not because it was trendy because it made sense.

Mr. Turtle started at Cal Poly, where a group of students came together over one shared concern: plastic waste.

So they built something simple:
A way to refill everyday cleaning products without the waste.

Now it’s part of your laundry routine.
Refill. Reuse. Repeat.

Whether you’ve met her or not… you’ve probably heard about Heather.
The texts. The quick replies.

Fixing things before they become problems.
Actually caring how the place feels.
When she took over Wishy Washy, it wasn’t just about upgrading machines, it was about showing up for the community behind them.

And people notice.
We hear it all the time:
“Heather made it right.”
“Heather responded so fast.”
“Heather really cares.”

That’s the standard here.

This isn’t what most people expect to see at a laundromat.

🎨 Ian The Meow, live at Wishy Washy.

Because clean spaces should feel inspiring, not just functional.
If you stopped by during the event, you alrealy get it.
If not… we’ll have more coming.
