September was a special month for North Beach Laundry - it marked our 1 year anniversary of being open.

‘Opening a business during COVID presented its own challenges, but it’s been an incredible journey. Over the year we achieved a number of major milestones: finishing our renovations, hiring a full team of All-Stars, and launching our Drop & Go washing services to name a few. Each day I see more and more familiar faces coming in - and with increased foot traffic as the city recovers from COVID, our business is slowly growing. We’re hearing great responses from the community and your friendly faces and positive (and constructive) feedback helps us do even better. Our goal is to take the work out of doing laundry so you can focus on doing the things you really enjoy. I look forward to what the next year brings NBL!’ - Jarret

1. Q: where are you originally from?
A: I’m originally from Texas. I’ve been in SF for 8yrs.

2. Q: what’s your favorite meal
A: I love food, so this one is hard but if I had to pick one, it’d be the salmon and fettuccine from Betty Lou’s on Grant Street and Columbus.

3. Q: Least favorite chore?
A: cleaning windows in my apt - they take forever!

Reminder! Based on guidance from the CDC and in accordance to SF’s health orders, North Beach Laundry requires masks to be worn indoors, even for individuals who have been vaccinated.  

Washing your masks? Don’t worry, we have extras we’ll give you to ensure we are all doing our part in being safe.

My favorite meal is a Filipino dish called Embotido, it’s like Filipino Meatleaf.
