Been a minute since I said hi. Being a serial entrepreneur takes a lot of focus. That being said, I also need to remind myself why I work this hard. Let's talk about odors...If you're a pet owner like me, you have issues with your turf & gravel starting to smell a bit like urine cake, especially in the summer. Turf Gal was born because of my mission, to eliminate that odor in a way that satisifies my OCD need to actually CLEAN things.

When I was shopping for solutions, the only quotes I was getting really involved someone hosing down the turf & adding in some new expensive infill. My install is less than a year old. It didn't seem like the right solution for me...in fact. It seemed to be completely lacking in solution (pardon the pun).

After extensive late-night reading, investigation & countless failed attempts. I finally found EcoStrong. A bio enzyme that has smart bacteria that ATTACKS and ELIMINATES odor-causing bacteria. Pima County Animal shelter is at bursting point & literally giving away dogs...If you can open your heart & home to adopt or foster, send us a message with a picture of your new family member & we will give you a free turf cleaning in August. Our heart breaks to see so many doggos in need of a home.

🚨 185 DOGS have come into PACC since Monday and we have over 475 dogs in the shelter! 🚨

We need your help to reduce our census to 425 by Monday! All adoptions are FREE through the weekend and all adult dog adopters and fosters will be entered into a raffle for a $50 Bookmans Entertainment Exchange gift card and a $25 Village Bakehouse gift card.

All these dogs featured were found with collars, leashes or even microchips without owner contact information so we know they have families who may be looking for them! Over half of all dogs brought to PACC are strays.

While we know this is done with the BEST of intentions, this is not the best course of action for healthy, friendly pets. Looking for the family of a healthy, friendly stray benefits not only the DOG but also the PEOPLE! We know over half of strays are reunited with their families within 48 hours IF they stay in their communities. If you find a stray, please post on Petco Love Lost, Nextdoor and/or social media pages, or hang flyers in the neighborhood. Let’s all make the commitment to look for the families of healthy, friendly stray dogs before taking them out of their community.

The more dogs we can't get home, the closer we creep to critical capacity, potential deadlines, and overcrowding, putting hundreds of dogs at risk.
