Rats don’t just appear—they follow hidden travel routes.

In this inspection, we found rats burrowing underneath the deck, leaving droppings, and climbing the deck supports to reach a small gap where the deck attached to the sunroom. From there, they made their way into the basement.

This is pretty serious stuff!!! Rabies can be transmitted through saliva and micro cuts!!! Raccoons also carry roundworm in their droppings, which can only be killed if it’s heated up above 180°!!!

Positive set cage trapping is one of the most effective and humane ways to remove nuisance wildlife. By placing a double-door spring-loaded cage directly over an active entry point, squirrels, raccoons, opossums, and other animals are safely captured as they enter or exit the home.

Today’s inspection revealed why a thorough crawlspace inspection is essential. Behind a v***r barrier, we found an abandoned pipe with a large opening that had become a rat entry point.
