This damage didn’t happen over years.
It happened during one bad detail.

These satin black AMG rims were chemically burned and etched by a novice detailer using the wrong products with no experience and no insurance.

Satin and matte wheels cannot be polished back like gloss finishes. Once they’re damaged, repair or refinishing is often the only option and that can cost hundreds or even thousands.
