-- its been exactly one year since i got into a car accident that almost took my life. all i did was look away for a second; that's all it took. It was after midnight, i was heading home. i may have been rushing to get there, and it seemed as though i blinked, and panicked to slow down to make my turn on the lake shore drive & they had just put new loose gravel down earlier that day, how ironic.
that was it. my range rover started sliding, it felt like it took maybe 5 seconds and i wouldn't realize til later i spent hours knocked out in someone's front yard because i rolled 8 times and was ejected from my suv.
i roiled that SUV EIGHT TIMES. it was incredibly terrifying. the first two rolls i was inside the car, and i was literally being thrown around the inside like a ragdoll, like i was weightless. i couldn't really see things clearly, but i felt everything. anything that wasn't a part of the suv managed to hit me in my head. as all of you know i own this residential/commercial cleaning company, and obviously in my car i had a vacuum, and all of my cleaning supplies.😩 i assure you, nothing missed the target 🤣 which was me, evidently.
however, i broke multiple vertebrae in my spine. completely dislocated my right hip from my body. so when i woke up, and i attempted to try and crawl to my phone, i started screaming & felt the worst pain in my entire body, that id ever felt. my back was broken. in more than one place, and i couldn't lift my right leg off of my left leg without screaming. i didn't know why i couldn't move my leg, or roll. but i started screaming for help, it took hours. the sun started to rise when an old lady came over, and called 911. thank god.
i haven't been open now, for a full year. i'm ready to get back to it, in full force 🤍 i'm fully recovered, & more than ready to get back to what i love! cleaning your home! 🙂
