We had a situation at our laundromat yesterday that we’re hoping our community can help with.

A young lady left a load of laundry in Dryer #9 (we think) yesterday (mid–late afternoon). She has disabilities and was trying to do her laundry independently for the first time. Unfortunately, she stepped out not realizing she couldn’t leave her items unattended, and when she returned, her clothes were gone.

This wasn’t just any laundry — it included:

Work clothes (purple dog grooming shirts)
Jeans
Towels and personal items

We’ve checked with staff and reviewed what we can, but haven’t been able to locate them.

If someone accidentally grabbed them or picked them up thinking they were left behind, we would greatly appreciate them being returned — no questions asked. These items are important to her, especially as she’s working hard to gain independence.

Thank you to everyone for their patience. We had a rough few weeks even tho we thought we were prepared for the cold weather. 1 of the car washes is back open. Hopefully the 2nd will be opened back up next week.

The car wash has been shut down and will be closed for the next few days. I'll reopen it once the roads are cleared and storm has past for people to spray salt off their cars.

The laundromat will remain open and be warm inside. Everyone stay safe and be careful on step and ramp while entering the front doors.

We apologize for the car wash being down this week. We know everyone needs to spray the salt off their cars. (We do too!) But twice in the last week someone has vandalized the car wash by shearing the fittings off. Not sure if its on purpose or accident but after going to 8 different places trying to find parts we finally had to order them online. We hope to get it back up soon. Sorry again!

A full load of laundry was left in one of the triple load washers over the weekend or early Monday morning. We have it bagged and on the table if anyone remembers they left a load.
