How do we keep our home clean and organized throughout the week while juggling busy work schedules, kids, and everyday chaos?

We don’t. 😂 At least, not the way we’d like to!

But one thing we do try to make time for is a quick 10–20 minute reset every morning before heading out the door. We tackle what we can, and the rest can wait.

One of my favorite little tricks is keeping a roll of cleaning rags right by the bathroom sink.

Between toothpaste splatters, soap residue, clutter, and hard water buildup, bathroom counters and faucets can get messy FAST.

Having a rag within reach makes it so easy to give everything a quick wipe while we’re already in there getting ready for the day. It takes less than a minute, but makes such a difference over time!

A clean home doesn’t have to mean a perfectly clean home. Sometimes it’s just about finding little habits that make life a bit easier.

And trust me, even the cleaning lady has a messy house sometimes. ❤️

Let’s talk about black mold!

This is something we come across in bathrooms more often than you might think.

Mold loves moisture, warmth, and poor ventilation, which makes bathrooms the perfect place for it to grow. And those little dark spots can easily go unnoticed until there’s a whole lot of them!

What many people don’t realize is that not all black-colored mold is the same. You can’t determine the type or how harmful it is just by looking at it.

Here in Washington, where moisture is practically part of our everyday lives, staying on top of bathroom cleaning and ventilation is especially important.

And remember, cleaning mold off a surface is only part of the solution. If the moisture problem isn’t addressed, it’s likely to come right back.

A healthy home is about so much more than what looks clean at first glance. 🤎

✨Mama’s Keeper | A Little Peace in the Chaos✨

💖4 Hours | $280 | Whatever You Need That Day💖

Today’s Mama’s Keeper was about more than cleaning. It was about taking some weight off a mama’s shoulders.

Before our visit, I reached out to ask my client what she needed us to focus on.

🥺Her response? She was overwhelmed. Her husband had been away, she’d been doing her best to keep everything together, and after a busy weekend filled with three birthday celebrations, things had gotten away from her.

She didn’t even know where she wanted us to start.

And that told me everything I needed to know.

🌼Our goal wasn’t perfection. It was to give her one less thing to worry about. I wanted her to walk through her door after work, look around, and finally feel a little peace.

💪So we got to work!

We folded some laundry, wiped away sticky fingerprints and little boogers from walls and furniture, organized and put things back in their places, and gave the bathroom some much needed attention.

Because sometimes you don’t need someone to ask you where to start. You just need someone to show up, see what needs doing, and take care of it.

That’s what Mama’s Keeper is all about.

(Also, yes. That is my child on the couch. She is homeschooled and sometimes joins us at work on our long days.)😊

A kitchen deep clean shouldn’t take 2 or 3 hours.

A deep clean is more than just dusting baseboards and cleaning the inside of appliances. It takes hours of meticulous work, attention to detail, taking things apart, and getting inside and outside of the light fixtures.

Craig and I spent 9 hours deep cleaning this kitchen from top to bottom, inside and out.
