A team at home AND on the field. 🖤

My best friend, my other half, and my partner in business & in life.

We spend our week cleaning everyone else’s homes together, so when I finally get a real day off, this man makes sure I’m not spending it cleaning ours too. 🥹

Today that means he’s on dish duty while I get to actually sit down and do NOTHING for once. 😂

Sherry, your generosity means more than just $300. This money goes directly toward helping us take on Fresh Start Recovery cleans for people who are overwhelmed and genuinely need a hand getting their home back.

We are exhausted, sore, and running on determination at this point 😂 but I am so incredibly grateful.

Getting to work side by side with my best friend while building this little business together is something I don’t take for granted. And neither is every client, referral, review, share, and person in this community who continues to support us. ❤️

Also, how do you guys like the new Tidy Temptations shirts?! 😍

Day 1 of our FREE move out clean is complete! 🧹🩷

12 hours of cleaning today and I have to say, having an amazing partner by my side makes such a difference. And you guys… he is JUST as detailed as I am. 😂🙌

We still have lots of work ahead of us, but we made some serious progress today and I’m so proud of what we accomplished together.

Day 1 down. Two more days to give it everything we’ve got! 💪🩷

Happy Monday wonderful people! 🩷

Today is day one of my partner & very best friend joining me on the job!

The job? A FREE 6 bedroom move out clean! 😳🧹

Because apparently we don’t believe in easing into things around here. 😂

This clean actually started as one of my Fresh Start Recovery Cleans, but circumstances changed and this mama now needs to move. So we’re shifting gears and turning her Fresh Start into a completely free move out clean instead. 🩷

Here’s the challenge. We have only THREE days to tackle a six bedroom home. 😳

Will we be able to get absolutely everything done? Honestly, we don’t know. But we are going to work our butts off, do as much as humanly possible, and give it everything we’ve got to hopefully help this mama get her deposit back! 🩷

I’m so excited to have Craig beside me for this one, and I can’t think of a more fitting way to kick off this new chapter of Tidy Temptations.

No before photos yet because we haven’t even walked through the door! 👀 You guys get to watch this one unfold right along with us.

Meet my new marketing assistant!

Alice made this handmade flyer and I’m obsessed with how cute it turned out. 🥹

She sat down with her markers and made this for my business, and I think it deserves to be displayed proudly. 💗

Unfortunately, I have been informed that her services are not free and I am required to pay her in Squishies. 3 Squishies per flyer to be exact. 🤣

So that’s great.

Tidy Temptations officially has another person on payroll.

Thinking about starting your own cleaning business but have no idea where to start? 👀

Starting a cleaning business can be an amazing way to work for yourself, make your own schedule, and build something that’s yours—but there’s a lot more to it than buying some cleaning supplies and finding a few clients.

I put together the things I think are most important to know when you’re getting started, including some things I wish I had known sooner.

You do NOT need to have everything figured out before you start. You’ll learn, adjust, make mistakes, change things, and get better as you go.

If starting your own cleaning business has been sitting in the back of your mind, maybe this is your sign to give it a shot. 🩷

Okay, I need to know… how do we feel about vacuum lines? 👀

😍 YES. Give me all the lines.
😌 They’re satisfying, but not necessary.
😂 I immediately walk across them anyway.
🙅‍♀️ Nope. I actually prefer carpet without them.

Personally, there’s just something about those fresh lines that makes the whole room feel officially clean. ✨
