We get it.
The struggle of doing ALL the things and being present with the MAIN thing. Being all in, but not losing yourself while being all in. It’s tough, but we not only found an answer, we created one.
We felt the pressure so we decided not only to find the relief, but also to offer it to other families. That’s how and why we started Ocean Vibe Pools.
Going from missing it to creating it to offering it to other families has helped us transform our lives. We went from executive chef and server to pool maintenance business owner/operator and now (one year in!) preschool teacher. Our lives have changed so much over the course of our business’s life.
We went from newly married to 11 years married, from one kid to three, from Stuart to PSL, from serving one county to two.
But more than that we also went from missing time together as a family to treasuring it. We went from meals apart to meals around the table. We went from serving dinner and drinks most Sundays to serving the Lord, every Sunday.
While we aren’t here for the highlight, it’s important to share that there have been and still are challenges, but we are grateful for it. We are here for offering glory to God and also extending the relief to others. We don’t have to do it all, we don’t have to have all the answers, but we do have to give it all to God.
Starting this week off with a gratitude post feels right. It feels good. And it feels led.
God, we pray this week, this month, this summer leads us closer to you. Lord, we pray it leads more families to lean into time together, to giving up some things in order to be able to give in to what’s right in front of them. To give praise to you for the prayers God that you have already answered. Father, we pray for time well spent. For quality and quantity to multiply. For willingness to surrender and ability to rise up in your name. Lord, we love you and we praise you.
