This bathtub needed some serious attention. 😅

Over time, soap scum, body oils, and mineral buildup can leave a tub looking yellow and dull. And regular wiping doesn’t always get rid of it.

Take a look at this before and after! We worked on the buildup, especially around the drain and along the bottom of the tub.

A good reminder that sometimes what looks like permanent staining is actually buildup that can be cleaned.

Give the handles and the edges around them a little attention during your kitchen wipe-down, too. Those small spots are easy to miss.

The handle gets wiped. The rest of the door is easy to overlook.

This one had buildup along the edge, around the k**b, and in the trim. You can see how much came off once those areas got some attention.

Sometimes it’s the things you walk past every day. 🙂

“Will every cleaning take this long?”

The first visit usually takes longer because we’re working through buildup that regular cleaning will help keep under control afterward. Even in a well-maintained home, dust, kitchen grease, and soap residue can collect over time.
That’s why we usually recommend starting with a deep clean. We spend extra time on areas like cabinet fronts, the stovetop, bathroom fixtures, and buildup around sinks, tubs, and showers. After that, recurring visits focus on maintaining that level of clean.

Before we arrive, having counters and floors reasonably clear helps us spend more time cleaning. We’ll assess the included areas first, and if anything could change the price or scope, we’ll discuss it with you before adding work.
And while we give buildup extra attention, some marks are stains or wear that cleaning can’t safely remove.

Does kitchen cleaning include inside the oven and fridge? It depends on the service you’re scheduling.

Regular cleaning keeps up with everyday mess: countertops, backsplash, sink, stovetop, appliance exteriors, accessible cabinet surfaces, and floors. We also wipe accessible tables and surfaces and empty the trash.

Deep cleaning includes that routine work, with more time spent on grease, buildup, cabinet fronts, baseboards, and those edges and corners that are easy to miss.

Inside the oven and refrigerator are separate add-ons for regular and deep cleaning. They aren’t automatically included.

Move-in/out cleaning is for an empty or mostly empty kitchen. Along with the surfaces and floors, we clean accessible cabinet and drawer interiors, inside one oven, and inside one refrigerator.

You don’t need to clean your house before we come. But a little picking up helps us reach the areas you want cleaned. 🙂

Put away clothes, toys, and loose items from floors and counters. Clear dishes out of the sink, and move personal items off bathroom surfaces.

The more accessible those areas are, the more time we can spend cleaning them.

Before we arrive, make sure we know how to get in, keep pets somewhere comfortable and secure, and let us know about any delicate surfaces or areas that need special attention.

No scrubbing needed. Leave that part to us.

That ring around the bottom of the toilet bowl can start to look permanent. In this one, it was buildup, and we were able to get it off.

Here’s the before and after. Sometimes the most satisfying part of a bathroom clean is the spot you thought wouldn’t come clean.

A surface can look clean and still collect bacteria. Here are five spots worth paying attention to:

Kitchen sponge or dish rag. It stays damp and picks up food residue. Replace sponges regularly, and wash dish rags often.

Kitchen sink. Food scraps and water collect around the drain. Give the basin and drain area a regular scrub.

Toothbrush holder. Water drips into the bottom, where it’s easy to miss. Empty it and wash it, not just the counter around it.

Pet bowls. Food and saliva are left behind after meals. Wash the bowls regularly, even if they look clean.

Coffee maker water reservoir. Standing water can leave buildup inside. Clean it according to the maker’s instructions.

These were among the top spots found in a household germ study. The kitchen sponge was number one.
