We are only 5 days away from opening day of our Owings Mills Farmers Market! We want to give a big shout-out to Shore United Bank- Owings Mills for their sponsorship and volunteerism to not just us but our community. Kristopher, the branch's manager (and our Board President!!), delivers food every week for Meals on Wheels America and the bank as a whole supports their communities in many ways including Youth and Education, Affordable Housing, Health and Human Services, Environment and Agriculture, Arts and Cultural Efforts, Civic and Community Development and Animal Welfare.

Yesterday we welcomed Raising Cane's -Owings Mills to our community by supporting their ribbon cutting. Wednesday at 8am didn't know what was coming! There was a huge crowd (some in line since 5pm the previous day for their giveaway!) and the music kept the morning party going. The cheerleaders and a portion of our member Owings Mills High School's band joined in the fun. A big thank you to everyone who attended.

We have been so busy with our happenings that we are a bit behind on posted pictures! We had a wonderful sold-out networking lunch at Santoni's Marketplace & Catering lasts Friday. We took over their outside patio while attendees made meaningful connections. We thank the team at Santoni's as well as all who attended for making this monthly favorite event a big success!

So what did YOU do tonight? If you had watched Maryland Public Television, you would have seen what we were up to. A group of our members volunteered for two live broadcasts during a double-header of programming. The programs were fascinating — The Women of WWII and then the second show was about the Black Watermen of the Chesapeake. Take a look at the fun. And please consider donating to our very own public tv station here in Owings Mills. All federal funding has stopped for them.

One word about last night... WOW! We hosted the Baltimore County Spring MEGA Networking night at the beautiful Marriott Owings Mills Metro Centre Hotel where over 130+ business professionals from 6 county business organizations came together to make new connections while strengthening existing ones. The food was extraordinary as was the team from the Marriott. Take a look at the fun!

A HUGE thank you goes out to Mama's On The Half Shell - Owings Mills and their team for opening early for our Young Professionals Networking Brunch today. Thanks also to Jerry Chiat for being our mentor-speaker as well as all of our attendees for making it a fun event.
