We would like to introduce the new President of the Pool Board, Trent Garman!

Trent is a lifelong member of the pool who has been serving as the Vice President of the Board for the last few years. He is excited to give back to the community where he grew up spending his Summers. He lives in Glyndon where he and his wife Meredith have the joy of watching their three children create core Summer memories of learning to swim, summoning the courage to slide down the big slide for the first time, and forming friendships that will last a lifetime.

We would like to take a moment to recognize and thank Per Karlsen for his dedication to the Glyndon Swim Club as his tenure as Board President comes to an end. Thank you, Per!

Per served as the President of the Board from 2017-2025 and he oversaw tremendous growth and success at the pool. Under his leadership, the entire Karlsen family poured countless hours and energy into making the Glyndon Swim Club a thriving Summer vacation spot. His children Katie and Kace managed and guarded for years, respectively, and his wife Kim worked on any and every project around the grounds from working special events to beautifying the planters and framing the photos in the pool house. We are very grateful!

TOMORROW is Labor Day, the LAST DAY of the season. This is a MEMBERS ONLY DAY. We will be grilling up the last of our inventory for our members until we run out! Snack Shack items will also be discounted. There will be plenty of games for kids of all ages!

It’s time for our LAST Item of the Week. A tribute to Summer, it’s a Summer Sunburst Snowball! ☀️🍓🥭🍉🍑

This snowball combines the delicious flavors of seasonal Summer fruits. It’s a nod to “tutti frutti” meaning “all fruits.” Strawberry, Mango, and Tutti Frutti flavors topped with Starburst are sure to please the palate. Treat yourself to one during this last week of the season.

Our final movie night of the season is on Friday! We’ll be showing Moana and hope that you’ll join us. Grounds close at 7:15pm to prepare and will reopen at 8pm. Movie will start at 8:30pm. 🌊
