Coping around a pool is one of the biggest decisions you can make when building a pool. Much thought and consideration should be taken. A lower up front cost will always equal lower quality. For the best finish possible without the imperfections of concrete, a true coping stone should be used. There are natural stones such as travertine, porcelain, limestone, flagstone to choose from. There are also many man made pavers that are made in a factory that look great and are cooler to the touch than cast in place concrete and don’t crack like concrete. Here is a small sample of pools with a true coping set on the edge piece by piece. Have a great weekend and make those material decisions carefully 😎

Never a dull moment in the pool biz!
Late Tuesday afternoon figured out I didn’t order plaster for a pool scheduled to plaster Thursday🤷🏽‍♂️! Need to re-hire a person for that job apparently, had a guy but he was so great somebody stole him away🤓lol.
Anyway, only option to get the pool done this week was drive to Chicago for plaster and the clock was ticking 🚙. Made the run and it went smoothly thanks to my co pilot Mrs J. 😍
Made it back in time to plaster at 8am Thursday. Guys did great🤗. Filled the pool quick like and the service team was able to start this one up today😎 Sometimes things just work out!
