PUBLIC ASSISTANCE NEEDED: The Ocean City Police Department is currently looking for two suspects who assaulted an OCPD Officer.

Officers attempted to arrest the male suspect for an alcohol violation. During the arrest, the male suspect resisted arrest, and the female suspect began assaulting the officer in an attempt to intervene. During the altercation, the male's white t-shirt was ripped off, revealing a blue tank top. Both individuals fled south from the area of 10th Street and Wilmington Lane around 7:03 p.m.

Suspect #1: Light-skinned male, with short dark hair, a goatee. He was last seen wearing black Nike shorts, a blue tank top, and no shoes.

Suspect # 2: Light-skinned female, with long hair, a belly button ring, and a tattoo on the left midsection/rib area. She was last seen wearing light colored pants, a light-colored cropped top, and pink Crocs.
