We recently completed a logistically challenging water service replacement for a beautiful home off Glebe Road in Arlington, Virginia — and this one had everything in the way.

For this project in Hillsboro, VA (Loudoun County), we needed to install a 50-foot grinder station discharge line from the sidewalk up into the side of a hill. Conventional excavation would have meant disturbing landscaping, walkways, and the surrounding terrain.

🔧 Under-Slab Sewer Problems with Multiple Tie-Ins? There’s a No-Dig Option for That !

A lot of homes and buildings have sewer lines under the slab with several branch connections tied into the same main. That makes traditional repairs difficult and sometimes trenchless lining can block those connections if it’s not the right application.

One solution is Pipe Coating.

Pipe coating is a multi-layer internal resin application that restores the inside walls of the pipe without closing off existing tie-ins. Instead of replacing the line or disturbing the structure above it, the pipe is cleaned, descaled, and coated from the inside, rebuilding the interior surface and improving flow while keeping the connections open.

It’s not the answer for every situation, but in the right conditions it can be a very effective way to rehabilitate aging sewer lines with minimal disruption to no disruption or demolition to the structure or property.
