Out here, we know a hard truth about building something from the ground up: folks might not applaud your work online, but they are absolutely watching you put in the hours.
I can’t count the number of times I’ve had someone pull me aside or send a quiet message to say, “I see everything you’re building.” It’s a kind gesture, but it almost always comes from folks who never hit like, share a post, or engage with the actual work I’m putting out there.
If I'm being honest, sometimes I wonder if that private pat on the back is just a way to ease the guilt of not supporting the hustle publicly.
Nobody owes anybody a free ride—engagement has to be earned, and that's just the reality of the work. But if you genuinely believe in the sweat equity someone is pouring into their dream, showing up where that work lives is what actually moves the needle. It’s the digital equivalent of walking into your neighbor's brick-and-mortar shop to buy what they’re selling instead of just waving from the street.
Sometimes, a quiet "I see you" just isn't enough to keep the lights on and the momentum going.
If you respect the grit, champion the work. Let people see that you see them.

This journey with OP has been anything but smooth. Not all paths lead you down a seamless transition.
My path with was a lot like my recent Colorado trip: Rocky 😝!
From the highest peaks to almost the lowest of valleys—valleys that almost left me walking away from the brand altogether.
BUT their level of ownership and accountability showed me what they're really made of. It truly is about more than just sales.
It started with a phone call. A genuine call of concern. A conversation that opened with:
“Either you’ve had a drastic life event, or we’ve fu**ed up. What’s going on? What happened?”

I proceeded to explain my concerns. They sat, listened, and took it all on the chin! The fortitude it takes to make that phone call and admit when something goes wrong is rare.
Yes, they sell products. Yes, they sell ceramic coatings and professional detailing services. But that’s not where it ends. To operate a business that spans from Canada to Florida while never losing focus on the people—that’s what sets them apart.
Behind the brands and behind the detailers, we’re all human. We’re parents, brothers, sisters, grandpas, and grandmas. When we clock out, we have a real life behind the shop doors. That’s what Owner’s Pride hasn't forgotten: we’re still people.

It’s so easy to get caught up in the relentless push forward—the next goal, the next milestone, the constant feeling that wherever you are right now simply isn't enough.
Stop for a second. Look back.
We rarely give ourselves permission to pause and appreciate the distance we’ve already covered. Nothing has challenged me, stretched me, or tested my resilience quite like being a small business owner. It demands everything you’ve got, and then asks for a little more. But when you stop staring at how far you still have to go and actually look at where you started, the growth is undeniable.
Give yourself some grace today. Recognize the long hours, the hard lessons, the quiet wins, and the sheer grit it took to get to this point. You built this step by step. Celebrate how far you’ve come, acknowledge the progress, and give yourself credit for standing where you are right now.

It started with a spark of curiosity and a phone call to Damon at Owner’s Pride for a free training class.
Back then, I just wanted to learn. I had no idea what was coming—the endless late nights, the raw hands, the brutal trial and error, and the quiet moments where you wonder if the sacrifice will ever pay off.
People saw a guy washing cars. They didn't see the blood, sweat, and obsession standardly poured into mastering a craft.
Fast forward to today... Making over 7 figures as a "detailer."
Sitting behind the wheel right now, driving to Louisville, Colorado, tears hit different. To look back at where it all began, to feel the weight of every sacrifice, and to know I'm on this road representing my brand—Owner’s Pride North Kansas City.
From a free class to a 7-figure legacy.
