Travertine sinks — we don’t run across them often, this sink was a focus in the cleaning. Since we didn’t know a lot, we learned as much as we could and then tested it.

Travertine sinks like to be dried after every use and oiled with a food grade oil at least once a week. That is how you keep them looking nice.

This sink was cleaned, and then oiled 3 times because it just kept soaking it up. A quick follow up a couple hours later and the sink was still perfect 👌

Yesterday we received our Best of Bastrop runner up award, and I am so proud of my team. 👏👏

When I first started my business in 2021 I learned pretty quickly that what I had been taught about cleaning houses was garbage. The basics were fine, but when you get down to it there is actually so much more to it. Because of this I only took clients who were referred to me.

July 2022 I had an ectopic pregnancy that resulted in an emergency surgery, a long healing time and depression. —This is the year we drove our business into the ground. Let it fade away and barely hang on by a thread.

September 2024 my Mother in law passed and a light shined on all the sadness we were still carrying. We set out to fix ourselves.

January 2025 we hit the ground running to rebuild our business, and we haven’t stopped since.

So, we may have gotten 3rd place runner up but with everything we have been through, that’s still pretty big to us.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by us, cheered for us and voted for us. We’re still here because of y’all. 💜

Imagine having your Monday perfectly planned out: one person doing one solo cleaning, 2 people doing two small cleanings; then they merge into a team of 3 for the last cleaning.

Then Monday comes, and someone might be sick. It could just be allergies, but better to play it safe.

With some quick thinking, and a husband & wife team willing to do whatever it takes.

Turned the day into two solo cleanings, one cleaning w/ a team of 2 people and one cleaning rescheduled.

Happy Monday! ✨

Today I have an ask.

A family who belongs to one of our clients had a house fire. On October 4th the family welcomed a beautiful baby into this world, and on October 7th the family of 5 lost their house.

If you can donate it would help them tremendously, if you can’t please help share this for them. 🙏

Hi, my name is Marcie McCord, and I am starting this fundraiser on b… Marcie McCord needs your support for Support for Megan's Family and Newborn After Fire

Last night Chris said; “You know, we’re probably the oddest cleaning company.”

“Why? Because we have half men, half women on our team? Because we have a kitchen and bathroom specialist? Because our Facebook is all over the place?”

He said, “All of that, but also we actually care. What company would have spent 3 hours on a Saturday researching a travertine sink? What company has ALL the varied things to care for the different counters, floors, etc in homes? What other company drops off donations to thrift stores for their clients? What business owner checks in on their clients when they know they’ve been sick?”

We are so much more than just your average, run of the mill cleaning company.
• Your price with us reflects your needs.
• On a tight budget? We can work out a cleaning plan.
• Have a specific area in your house that’s you want to see transformed? Let me know in advance so we can find the best way to tackle it.
• Don’t want a deep clean, or only want a deep clean in some areas? No problem.
• Want a team who has fun while they’re cleaning? That’s us.
• Want a team in your house that actually cares, and makes you feel heard? That’s us.

If you want a standard, run of the mill “this is what you get” —we are not the company for you.
If you want to be able to say; “I want my ceiling fans, blinds and baseboards rotated each cleaning so they’re never dusty” —we are the right company for you.

We had a great time doing this transformation!
It’s far from the worst that we have seen, but we think it came out Crystal Clean✨

Have a great weekend!

Which mop is best for your floors? 🧼

1. STEAM MOP
Best for heat-safe, sealed floors

Ceramic tile
Porcelain tile
Some sealed stone floors

⚠️ Use caution on: Hardwood, laminate, luxury vinyl plank (LVP), and other heat- or moisture-sensitive flooring.

2. FLAT MOP
Best for everyday cleaning and gentle care

Sealed hardwood
Laminate, using minimal moisture
Luxury vinyl plank (LVP)
Ceramic and porcelain tile
Sealed stone, with a flooring-safe cleaner

⭐ A microfiber flat mop offers excellent everyday cleaning with better control over moisture. You do need to change the mop head, or use a bucket system.

3. O-CEDAR SPIN MOP
Best for durable, water-resistant floors

Ceramic and porcelain tile
Sealed stone, with an appropriate cleaner
Other water-resistant hard floors

⚠️ Use caution on: Hardwood, laminate, and LVP. A spin mop can hold excess water, make sure to keep the mop well wrung out.
