Think those micro-scratches came from the car wash? Maybe… but around Myrtle Beach, there’s another culprit nobody thinks about:
ALL. THE. DAMN. POLLEN.
On a microscopic level, pollen is rough and jagged. So when it gets dragged across your paint — whether by a bad wash, a dirty mitt, a quick wipe-down, or those moppy spider-looking thingies at the car wash — it can absolutely leave your finish looking scratched up, hazy, and tired.
And it doesn’t stop there.
That same pollen gets baked into your black plastic trim in the sun and helps turn it faded, chalky, and old-looking way faster than most people realize.
You thought it was just the sun, didn’t you? Nope. Around here, pollen and sun together make your car say "ah ah ah, acoona my ta tas, there Spanky".
So if your vehicle suddenly looks:
🚗 micro-scratched
🚗 cloudy
🚗 dull
🚗 faded around the trim
…there’s a good chance Pollenpocalypse is already working on it.
And here’s the worst part:
A lot of people think running their pollen-covered car through a quick wash fixes the problem. Sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes it just drags all that junk across your paint and makes the finish look even worse. Ouch. E.T. phoned home! 👊
That’s where I come in.
I’m Ryan with Attention to Detail Myrtle Beach, and with 35+ years of experience, I can:
✨ polish out a lot of that haze and micro-marring
✨ restore faded black trim
✨ protect the finish so pollen and grime are safer to remove the right way
So if your vehicle looks old, tired, worn out, and like Myrtle Beach has been chewing on it…call me before it gets worse.
Because Pollenpocalypse is undefeated… unless you bring in a pro.
