We need a real actionable way to police the police. Things are getting out of hand when the people who are swore to protect you are your biggest threat. When they can take a human life wether intentionally or out of straight ignorance, being really, really bad at there jobs, is not only ok but rewarded. Everything from Shatley,Steven, to brutalizing one legged men and putting a spin on it like it was ok. Among many others through the years. Look if we keep ignoring this, if we choose to keep looking the other way, then things will get worse and worse as the corruption gets worse. Let's all not forget that they work for us upholding a system which should be black and white. We have allowed way too much gray area in it. There role in our community is that of any of the rest of us a job. They are doing a job they just suck at it. So we need to clean house and try something different. The sheriff is elected official and all his lackeys are employed by him so there actions are directly tied to him. And if you don't have enough grit to uphold your officers to the standard our community needs then there is someone out there that can.
