💍 Forget finding a needle in a haystack… try finding a wedding ring in a tank! 💩😂

Yep, you read that right.

Somehow, against all odds, we managed to find a wedding ring in a 5,000 gallon tank.

They say true love can survive anything… apparently that includes a trip down the toilet. 🤣

🚨 There’s a right way to pump a septic tank… and then there’s the easy way.

We recently serviced this septic system and discovered the tank had been getting pumped through the observation pipe instead of accessing the main lid for over 25 years!

Sure, you might get some of it out that way… but proper access through the main lid allows us to actually see what’s going on inside the tank and do a much more thorough job.

So we did it right. 💪

✅ Dug up and accessed the main lid
✅ Properly pumped and inspected the tank
✅ Installed a riser and lid extension
✅ No more digging for future service

Now when this customer is due for their next pumping, the lid is right at grade and ready to go.

Do it right once, and make it easier every time after.

We’re not always out having fun pumping septic tanks and cleaning sewers. Our jetting trailer said "I'm done" at 10:30 at night on our way back from Bruce, WI. We limped it back to the shop and Marty was able to get the suspension repaired the next day with parts from Wilshire Trailers in Stevens Point. We're ready to roll again!

We don't normally post graphic pictures like this, but our new truck was caught NAKED on a sewer backup call in Denmark, WI! Hopefully we can get some clothes (graphics) on it soon!
