1 Buy the Gadget: Get yourself a water pressure gauge (like the shiny PROFLO one ). It costs less than a fancy burrito.
2 Find the Spigot: Head outside and twist it onto an outdoor hose bib. Hand-tighten it like you actually know your own strength. 🏋️‍♂️
3 The Big Reveal: Turn the water on.
4 Read the Doom Meter:
Under 40 PSI: You’re living in a sad waterfall commercial.
50 to 75 PSI: The Sweet Spot. Total harmony.

This house is currently chugging a frantic 115+ PSI straight from the city main. Normal residential plumbing likes a calm, meditative 55-75PSI. This place? It’s vibrating on an absolute caffeine overdose. At this rate, the water heater is on the verge of a nervous breakdown, the dishwasher is hyperventilating, and the pipes are sweating through their drywall. Unless you want your plumbing to start seeing sounds and hallucinating a poltergeist, it’s time to check that pressure regulator. Let's get this house a sedative before it blows a gasket! 💊🔧

When we say it’s a family business, we mean everyone gets a piece of the action. Last week you saw my daughter tackling the diagnostics, and this week my son got drafted into the elite squad of "Plastic Containment Specialists." As you can see from the ceiling cutout, we were hunting down a leak, which meant turning this kitchen into a high-stakes game of Dexter-meets-plumbing prep. Oscar is a gem. He changed part of the main line to my home. He showed up when he said he would and did the job he promised he would.

For years my home suffered from branches in the line that intermittently clogged my toilets and even caused beetles to enter my shower through the drain. This was a nightmare, and each time a different plumbing service came out, the job was never fully repaired. NOW NO BEETLES and the toilets work just fine. I highly recommend DLT if you and your home desire a competent, concerned plumber for life.
