Saturday Spotlight! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This past Saturday we suddenly had toilets and showers backing up, and it could not have happened at a worse time. We were overwhelmed trying to figure out what to do on a Saturday evening, but thankfully we were referred to DLT Plumbing.

Oscar came out that same night and immediately got to work. He brought a camera and took the time to show us exactly what was going on inside the pipes while clearly explaining everything to us. Being able to actually see the issue for ourselves made us feel much more confident in his recommendations and the work that needed to be done.

Oscar returned Monday with his crew and they got straight to work. He stayed in communication with me from start to finish, which I really appreciated during such a stressful situation. The crew did an amazing job and left our home looking exactly as they found it — despite having to dig a new hole in our front yard. You honestly would never know the work had been done.

After the repair, Oscar followed up with a detailed email that included before-and-after photos and videos, along with information about the work completed. He also guarantees his work and already has us scheduled for a follow-up appointment next year.

Let’s be honest, blindly choosing a plumber during an emergency sucks. Thankfully Oscar was the one I chose. We had a clogged drain that was backing up into our showers. Needless to say we couldn’t go the weekend with that happening. Oscar and his daughter came out first thing this morning and diagnosed the problem, and got it unclogged.
His estimate didn’t change from when we spoke on the phone and he even let me know about some more serious issues to keep an eye on in the future.
I’ll definitely be calling him again!

You can see what happens when P-traps are left to fight for their lives. The top photos show severe external corrosion—that white and green crust is a major warning sign. The bottom photos show what was hiding inside: years of hair, soap scum, and buildup completely choking the pipe.
The takeaway? An annual plumbing inspection isn't a luxury; it’s preventative maintenance.
If we catch this now, it’s a quick P-trap replacement. If it’s left alone, that pipe fails, leaks into your vanity, rots your floorboards, and turns into an expensive remodeling project.

1 Buy the Gadget: Get yourself a water pressure gauge (like the shiny PROFLO one ). It costs less than a fancy burrito.
