We control all types of pests including rats, mice, gophers, ground squirrels, ants, spiders, cockroaches, fleas, ticks, earwigs, sowbugs, pillbugs, moths, flies, pantry pests, beetles, crickets, skunks, opossum, raccoons, snails, pigeons, sparrows, bats, etc. We also treat tree and plant pests and disease and have a landscape fertilization program. Currently, we don't do termite control.

It's sad that these 2 large valley oak trees (foreground and background to right) are not going to survive They were burned in the Woolsey fire and though they're green now they have no lower cambium to connect the leaves and branches to the roots. The cambium on the one in the foreground is 100% gone and the background tree to the right has lost 90+%.

In this video taken in Sylmar, CA, courtesy of Luis Mendoza, we see typical feeding habits of a pocket gopher (Thomomys bottae). Notice that it never actually leaves its tunnel. This is to make a quick escape in case a predator comes along and due to the fact that gophers are nearly blind which would make it difficult to find its tunnel once out in the open. This tends to make it seem brazen as it doesn’t appear bothered by human presence nearby. In actuality, it probably wouldn’t be aware that someone was there until movement was detected. Also consider that the gopher is not eating the material gathered, but rather stashing it for later consumption. They have storage compartments in their burrows for this very purpose.
