Roots in a sewer line? We see that all the time. Roots INSIDE a gas line? That’s a different story! 😳🌳

A customer called The GO Company after their gas was locked out. We pressure tested the system, found the underground yard line failed, and replaced it. This is what came out of the ground—heavy corrosion and roots growing right inside the old pipe! 👀

Gas locked out? We can help find the problem and handle the repairs.

Our vans are adding a little pink and purple this October. 💗💜

At The GO Company, we’re putting cancer awareness stickers on every van to show our support for those fighting, honor those we’ve lost, and stand beside the families walking through it with them.

This cause hits close to home for our family, and we know it does for so many others in our community.

To everyone facing cancer, and everyone caring for someone who is—we’re thinking of you and rooting for you. 💗💜

Ever had a toilet clog that just wouldn’t budge? That’s what we faced for a homeowner in Odessa.🚽

We pulled the toilet and ran a snake through the line, but the blockage needed more attention. After checking under the house, we found a cast iron 90 that needed replacing. We installed new PVC fittings and made sure the line was clear from the lavatory to the main connection. Everything is now draining smoothly.

Sometimes, clearing a clog means digging a little deeper. If your drains are slow or backed up, it might be time to look beneath the surface.

🔥 Is Your Water Heater Trying to Warn You?

Water heaters usually give you warning signs before they completely fail. Watch for:

• Water that doesn’t stay hot
• Rusty or discolored hot water
• Popping, rumbling, or banging sounds
• Moisture or leaking around the tank
• Hot water that smells unusual
• A sudden increase in your utility bill
• A water heater that’s around 10 years old or older

Some of these problems may only require a repair, while others can mean the tank is nearing the end of its life. Catching the issue early could help prevent water damage and an unexpected cold shower.

Not sure what your water heater needs? The GO Company can inspect it, explain your options, and help you decide whether repairing or replacing it makes the most sense.

We went to grab our tools and came back with a new apprentice 😂🐶

He was already in the van checking everything out and ready for the next service call.

Unfortunately, he still needs to pass his plumbing exam. 🔧

🛠️ CAST IRON & PVC DRAIN DESCALING

Check out this slow-motion footage of our descaling equipment removing buildup from an old cast-iron drain line!

At The GO Company, we offer professional descaling for both cast-iron and PVC drain/sewer systems.

🔹 Cast Iron: Descaling can remove minor rust and buildup from the inside of older cast-iron piping, improving flow and helping reduce stoppages. It’s important to understand that descaling is not a permanent fix for deteriorating cast iron, but when the pipe is still in suitable condition, it can help extend its usable life and buy time before replacement is needed.

🔹 PVC: Hard-water minerals and uric scale, especially in commercial systems, can significantly restrict PVC piping. We can mechanically remove the buildup and then hydro jet the line to flush out the debris, helping restore the pipe to its full flow capacity.

📹 A camera inspection is required first to evaluate the condition of the piping and determine if descaling is the right option.

🚨 THIS is what can be hiding inside your water heater.

We cut open this old electric water heater to show exactly what years of buildup and lack of maintenance can look like inside the tank.

All of that buildup you see? Your water heater has been holding and heating water around it every single day. 😳

We recommend having your water heater serviced annually. A proper water heater service can include flushing sediment from the tank, inspecting the unit for signs of corrosion or leaks, and checking the anode rod to see if it is still protecting the tank.

Skipping maintenance year after year can allow sediment to build up and corrosion to continue unnoticed — and sometimes the first sign of a problem is when the water heater starts leaking or completely gives out.

⚠️ Have an older water heater? Don’t wait until you wake up with no hot water or water on the floor.

Let The GO Company inspect your water heater and help you determine whether it needs maintenance or if it’s time to start planning for replacement.
