Not all Berber carpet is built the same. Some styles are tightly woven and firm, built more for durability and long-term wear. Others have a softer, more plush feel — which can look great but also tends to trap traffic soil deeper into the fibers and mat down faster in high-use areas.

This softer style was the latter, but with the right pre-treatment, proper agitation, and a thorough rinse, we were able to flush out the heavy traffic soil and bring much more life back into the fibers. A good cleaning doesn’t just remove dirt — it helps reset the texture and appearance of the carpet too

Some stains don’t happen overnight… and neither does the buildup hiding in your furniture 👀

Many over-the-counter spot cleaners leave behind sticky residue that attracts MORE dirt, can damage carpet fibers over time, and may even cause stains to come back worse than before.

As professional cleaners, we can usually tell right away when too much store-bought cleaner has been used on a spot. Less is often more!

Even with plenty of pre-spray, proper dwell time, and multiple passes with the CRB, this 50-year-old carpet just didn’t want to let go of the kitchen traffic stains that had built up over decades. Some staining becomes so embedded over time that improvement is the goal — not always perfection. Still, a huge difference and a much healthier, fresher carpet in the end.
