Forget the corner office with a mahogany desk—my entire corporate headquarters fits right inside my bag. 🎒✨

I don’t have a traditional standalone office. Between running jobs, chasing our four kids, and hitting the road in our RV, my “office” has to be completely mobile. Most days, you’ll find me typing away on my iPad and Bluetooth keyboard from the front seat of the truck, a picnic table, or wherever life happens to take us that day while Chris is out in the field doing the heavy lifting.

It’s flexible, it’s a little chaotic, but it lets us build our dream life on our own terms.

When I graduated from the University of Memphis, I had a very different idea of what my life and work “should” look like. I thought a degree meant I wouldn’t have to get my hands dirty or work this hard. But corporate life wasn’t my dream, and trying to force complex, low-return businesses just left us spinning our wheels.

The truth? Starting your dream business without cash flow isn’t sustainable. Choosing a “boring” business with guaranteed, everyday demand is how you actually fund the vision. We’ve got big goals on this journey—keeping Chris at home, scaling our revenue year over year, and ultimately building a safe harbor for people in crisis.

It takes grit, consistency, and a whole lot of showing up, even when it’s hard (though my dedication to this message was really tested when I literally got attacked by a wasp mid-filming 🐝😅)
