Jordan and Richard, two brothers who were victims of a road rage attack. We posted the story when the first brother died but we are sad to learn that the brother who survived has now died as well💔
A St. Louis mother recently visited the graves of her two sons, Jordan Neal and Richard Neal. She left a lollipop at each grave and made the same promise she has carried since their deaths: one day, there will be justice.
On May 24, 2025, Jordan, 9, and Richie, 10, were riding in a vehicle with their father in north St. Louis when a road-rage encounter turned deadly. Someone in another vehicle opened fire, sending bullets into their car.
Jordan was shot in the chest and died. Richie suffered a serious gunshot wound to his leg and spent months fighting to recover. He even celebrated his 11th birthday in the hospital, dancing with the nurses. But we just learned that Richie died from complications related to his injuries six months after surviving the shooting.😢
Two deaths now and the case remains unsolved. Two young brothers lost their lives because of a senseless act of violence, and their family is still waiting for answers.
It was understandable as to why Jordan’s body couldn’t handle the gunfire. He had already battled health conditions. Jordan was born premature weighing just 1 pound. He had cerebral palsy, underwent countless surgeries—including heart operations—and defied every prediction.
“He was a fighter,” his father said through tears. “They told us he’d never walk. Never talk. Never cry. Jordan did all of that.”
After being shot and rushed to a hospital, he fought for 3 hours before going on to eternal rest. He survived so many medical struggles, only to die violently. A few months later, his brother joined him in heaven. It seems they needed each other. This was a tragedy.😢
