The sadness of losing longtime clients is something that doesn’t get talked about enough. 🥹
It’s not always just “a job ending.” its more than that
Sometimes they move away… and you never walk back into their home again. 💔
Sometimes they pass away… and you realize you won’t hear their voice asking about your day anymore. 🤍
And sometimes life changes for them financially… and they simply can’t afford the help anymore, even though they want to keep you. 👀
After months or years of going into the same homes… you get used to the routines, the conversations, the little details of their lives.
So when it stops, it feels strange. Quiet in a way you don’t expect and it feels odd
Cleaning isn’t just scrubbing and mopping. It’s relationships built over time, one visit at a time. ❤️
And when those chapters end, it can feel like more than just losing a client… it feels like losing a small piece of your everyday world. 🥹
A lot of cleaners carry those moments with them quietly, even while moving on to the next home. 🤍
