Standard Clean
A standard clean is a routine, regular cleaning that focuses on keeping a space tidy and maintaining surface-level cleanliness. It includes tasks such as:
Dusting surfaces
Vacuuming or sweeping floors
Mopping hard floors
Wiping down commonly used surfaces (e.g., kitchen countertops, bathroom sinks)
Cleaning bathrooms (toilet, sink, mirror, etc.)
Emptying trash
The goal of a standard clean is to manage daily or weekly dirt and mess, keeping things fresh and presentable.
Deep Clean
A deep clean is a more intensive, comprehensive and detailed cleaning that goes beyond the basics. It's often done less frequently ( seasonally or annually) and targets hard-to-reach or neglected areas. Tasks include:
All of the standard cleaning task
Cleaning inside appliances (e.g., oven, refrigerator)
Washing baseboards and door frames
Scrubbing grout lines in bathrooms or kitchens
Cleaning inside cabinets or drawers
Detailed dusting (e.g., ceiling fans, light fixtures)
Washing inside of windows
Dusting blinds
Steaming the kitchen and bathroom areas
Removing unseen mold out of places that we normally don't know is there ( shower and tub corners and shower doors, faucet’s, under toilets, etc.
Deep cleaning is more thorough and time-consuming than standard cleaning, aiming to remove built-up dirt, dust, and grime.
Key Differences
Frequency: Standard cleaning is done regularly; deep cleaning is done occasionally.
Scope: Standard cleaning focuses on visible areas and high-touch surfaces, while deep cleaning covers hidden, hard-to-reach areas.
Purpose: Standard cleaning maintains daily tidiness; deep cleaning rejuvenates and resets a space by removing deeper, accumulated dirt.
