I don't often share much about my faith. And some may even say it is risky to do so. But this Sunday's sermon was about Labor. And the Act of converting your mindset surrounding your job from a transactional obligation to a spiritual commitment.

I filled in as worship lead for this service so I sat with the words of the sermon for a whole week before Sunday came. And after all the work was figured out about the songs I would select and how to properly make the slides, I really sat with what I have been able to do in my community providing the service I provide.

And I just want to say thank you to all of you who have invited me in to transform your space. I have often said when talking about my business that I operate as a servant first. And if I live through that principal then the needs of the business will be met along the way.

Happy Earth Day everyone! I had a blast getting out with Key City Bike and trialing a trash pickup on inline skates. I was astonished at the efficiency this setup provided.

Look for me around Mankato as I participate in other cleanup events. I think the inline skates are a requirement at this point.

Now if I could put together a team with a couple scooters, they can go further in to the grass on foot!

Had a great time last night watching the Kiss the Ground documentary last night at the Ostrander Auditorium on campus. I love hearing about the solutions that are being proposed and implemented to restore soil integrity on our fields and hearing about the challenges that farmers need to overcome to implement them. Trial and error experimentation is a challenging Prospect when your yield and livelihood are on the line and I commend any who are willing to walk that path.
