What does last load time at the laundromat mean? In this case it's 8:00PM and this is the latest time you can start laundry. At last load time you have to stay inside with your laundry. Don't start it and leave, we don't know if you're coming back tonight and won't wait around to find out. We start cleaning at 8:00 and when we're done, we leave. The doors are one way. You can stay and finish up but the doors will lock behind you when you go out. I still have people surprised by this every day when it's been this way for 6 years. As the announcement says, You don't have to go home but you can't stay here.
