Great information!

This could be the most important thing that you see us post! Its an epidemic this year, and these things are as lethal as a venomous snake in the wrong senerio! Please not only read it, but share it! Make sure we get the word out about these tics and the disease they carry!

It's summer! Time for camping, hiking and getting outside to play. Don't let those pesky annoying ticks stop you. Here's how with a simple homemade solution!

Repellent for your pets:

For pets, add 1 cup of water to a spray bottle, followed by 2 cups of distilled white vinegar. Ticks hate the smell and taste of vinegar, and will be easily be repelled by this ingredient alone. Then, add two spoonfuls of vegetable or almond oil, which both contain sulfur (another natural tick repellent).

To make a repellent that will also deter fleas, mix in a few spoonfuls of lemon juice, citrus oil, or peppermint oil, any of which will repel ticks and fleas while also creating a nicely scented repellent. Spray onto the pet's dry coat, staying away from sensitive areas including eyes, nose, mouth, and ge****ls. When outdoors for an extended period, spray this solution on two to three times per day.

For you and your family:

In a spray bottle, mix 2 cups of distilled white vinegar and 1 cup of water. To make a scented solution so you do not smell like bitter vinegar all day, add 20 drops of your favorite essential oil.

Eucalyptus oil is a calm, soothing scent that also works as a tick repellent, while peppermint and citrus oils give off a strong crisp scent that also repel ticks.

After mixing the solution, spray onto clothing, skin, and hair before going outdoors. Reapply every four hours to keep ticks at bay, and examine your skin and hair when back inside to make sure no ticks are on the body.

If you have ever shared anything, please click share on this! WE must get the word spread about the dangers of Ticks and how to avoid them!

Hello. I’m the Mud Dauber. Sorry about the "ugly" dirt tubes I’m building on your siding.

I know it looks like I’m starting a colony, but I’m a solitary architect. I don't have a hive to defend, which means I’m almost never aggressive. You could walk right past me, and I wouldn't care. I’m busy hunting.

I stuff each one of these mud tubes with 20-30 paralyzed spiders.

My favorite prey? Black Widows and Brown Recluses. I am a specialist at finding the dangerous spiders that hide in your woodpiles and eaves. I paralyze them, put them in my mud "pantry," and lay an egg.

What to do:
If the nest is in a spot where it won't be bumped, just leave it. I’m providing free, 24/7 spider control for your patio. Once the holes appear in the mud, I’m gone for the season. You can scrape the dry mud off then.

I’m sorry I look intimidating.
But your porch is a Black Widow-free zone because of me.

🚒 SLUSH HAPPENS: A Guide to Not Meeting Us Today 🧊

Look, we love seeing you. You're great. But we'd much rather see you at the grocery store or the pancake breakfast than upside down in a ditch because you thought your SUV had "magical slush-defying powers."

As the roads turn into a giant, freezing grey Slurpee, please keep the following in mind:

1. Four-Wheel Drive ⛔ Four-Wheel Stop
Your 4WD is excellent at helping you get stuck deeper in the woods. It does nothing to help you stop on a sheet of frozen slush. Physics doesn't care about your trim package; it will still slide you into that mailbox at 5 mph like a very slow, very expensive curling stone.

2. The "Space Out" Rule
If you are close enough to the car in front of you to read their "My Child is an Honor Student" bumper sticker, you are too close. Give them enough space to fit a whole fire truck between you. That way, when they panic-brake, you have time to contemplate your life choices instead of joining their backseat.

3. Don't Be a "Peephole" Driver
We see you. You scraped a tiny 4-inch circle on your windshield and you're peering through it like a submarine captain. Clear the whole window.

4. Turn Off the Cruise Control
Using cruise control in the slush is like letting a toddler hold the steering wheel while you take a nap. If your tires lose grip, the car will try to accelerate to maintain speed, and suddenly you're doing a 360-degree interpretive dance toward the guardrail.

The Bottom Line:
Drive like your grandmother 🧓 is in the back seat holding a giant crockpot of hot gravy 🍲 and wearing her Sunday best.

Stay safe, stay slow, and keep the rubber side down.
