After 27 years of marriage, my wife has heard a lot of them, and her signature eye-roll is now an automatic reflex.

Un Sung Heroes Getting’ Down on the “Down-Low”

Experiencing the heavenly ensemble of a beautiful chorus is often a spiritually moving experience for me. The famous Mormon Tabernacle Chior, the Chior of Kings College, The Sixteen among others are great examples of this. But did you know that here at AtoZ, we have a couple of unsung heroes named Uriel Garcia and Jacob Alexander who feverishly work their magic every day out on our shop floor custom crafting our customers’ window screens and sunscreens.

They work in choreographed concert, doing more work with two guys that should be humanely possible. And if you have ever tried to build your own window screens, you know that it is no easy feat!

But Jacob and Uriel are no average guys…. When it comes to getting you your window screens as quickly as possible while maintaining strict quality, these two really “get down”.

Unfortunately, nobody ever gets to see these two maestros of the screen mesh because they work in our shop, “on the down-low” out of the public’s eye… and that’s the way they both like it…..

But today we decided to spoil their screen shenanigan secrecy and shine a spotlight on two of our operation’s biggest unsung heroes by featuring them on our page for all to behold!
Behold AWESOMENESS!

That being said, the fact of the matter is that some heroes best remain “un-sung”….. because I’ve heard them both try to sing and it wasn’t spiritually moving at all, if you know what I mean….. LOL!

Thank goodness they’re keeping their day jobs and making window screens instead!

The sun is out, the weather is nice, and our phones went from quiet to ringing off the hook! When the weather turns nice, everyone wants to open their doors and windows at the same time and while this is great for business, sometimes these longer lead times can lead to frustration for our customers.

This year, AtoZ Window Screens has hired 5 new members in order to meet the demand as well as possible and try to keep wait times down to a reasonable level..... but the fact of the matter is that we went from 0 to 100mph overnight and the pace is only going to pick up, so if you were thinking about getting your window screens repaired or replaced or were on the fence about getting a new screen or security door, NOW is the time you'll want to call before even more octane gets dumped on this fire!

They say nobody has a job until somebody makes a sale... and it's true! AtoZ Window Screens relies on it's team of in-home sales consultants to help guide our customers in making decisions that are best for them.

And in that vein, AtoZ would like to welcome its newest member to our exclusive club of encyclopedic screenologists, Jack Pierce!

Jack has been in the trades his entire life, spending much of his career as a professional painting contractor making high end multi-million dollar homes in the Santa Rosa / Bay area look beautiful. In addition to having a keen eye for colors and contrasts, Jack has also spent his entire adult life rounding out his skills in a variety of other trades such as finish carpentry, cabinet making / woodworking, pest control, and restoring old cars and motorcycles. His latest restoration project is a 1966 Mustang GT convertible.
It would be correct if one were to say that Jack is a “Jack of all trades” LOL!

And these years of experience and keen eye for detail assure you that you’re in great hands when it comes to getting you the perfect security door, window screens, sunscreens, or screen door for your home. Jack is a consummate professional when it comes to finding the perfect styles and colors for your bug-free-breeze project and will ensure the entire process is “easy-breezy” from start to finish.

And when Jack isn’t plying his trade skills in your home, he can often be found taking a scenic cruise on his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, singing karaoke, volunteering his time helping his aunt maintain her property or keeping the books for his local motorcycle club as the Sacramento treasurer.

Jack is a great guy with a wealth of knowledge and he looks forward to helping make all your screen dreams come true!

AtoZ would like to welcome our newest teammate Evan Ivaldi (aka the human pretzel maker 😉.
If you’ve ever wished you had a friend who happens to be the nicest guy you know, but who also could tie your extremities into a square knot at the drop of a hat, look no further than Evan!

Evan’s dad own’s a Mixed Martial Arts gym in Penry called “Mattime” and he has assisted his dad teaching wrestling and Jiu Jitsu since he was 8 years old. Evan’s very slight case of cauliflower ear is the only outward clue that he is the last person you’d want to try to rob in a dark alley LOL!

Having just served as an M240 machine gunner in the U.S. Marine Corps, Evan has joined forces with our team of elite screenologists helping folks get the breeze without the bugs or thugs, and he’s eager to make a difference in the lives of our customers.

An avid outdoor adventurer, Evan loves rock climbing, hiking, camping, backpacking and offroading in his tricked out ‘93 Jeep Cherokee crawler. The tougher the adventure, the better!

One of Evan’s favorite trips was hiking up mount San Jacinto in Palm Springs…. One of the hardest day hikes in the US with over 10,000 feet of elevation gain over a grueling 20 mile trail. That hike took him over 12 hours to complete, but he had a major sense of accomplishment (and some very sore legs) the next day.

Evan is AtoZ’s newest screen installation technician and looks forward to perfecting his farmers tan this summer as he wows our customers installing sunscreens, bugscreens, sliding screen doors, and security doors with the expertise that only a human pretzel maker could muster 😉.

So if you happen to see Evan at your home this summer, give him a warm welcome, but don’t try to take his wallet! LOL.
