Donations are complete! The room was filled with gifts, and bikes, and build a bears etc. A bunch of little boys walked up as I was leaving and wanted to pick gifts out and I was fine with it but the employees said they’d get in trouble so they put them in a room and will give them out tomorrow morning. I am beyond blessed. My son may have tubes in his ears and a step mom and a step dad but he isn’t burnt from head to toe nor spending his Christmas in the hospital. Thank you so much everyone who has supported my business since I opened August 2nd and thank you to my employees for doing such a great job to help me keep it running. I couldn’t do it without all of you. Thank you so much to everyone who donated what they could. I’m leaving in tears, pulled over to post this before I begin to drive. I believe God asked me to do this and now I will do it every single year. They wouldn’t allow me to take any pictures with the children without their parents there, which I completely understand. I hope to one day have reached every children’s hospital in Texas with donations for Christmas. I originally planned to go to UTMB children’s but the woman I spoke with was gone for the day and this was the first place I saw and it felt right. On a side note, on my way in there was a fire across Galveston, which I also believe that was God leading me to go to the Shriners Hospital. God Bless you all, I hope you have An amazing Christmas and a Happy New year! Let’s pray for these children to get home rather sooner than later as healed as possible so they can begin to live like kids again. 💙
