Just wanted to give everyone an update on what’s been going on.

The surgery went well, but I still haven’t been able to return to work. Recovery has been a slow process, and honestly, it’s been frustrating. Every time I feel like I’m taking a step forward, it seems like I end up taking two steps back.

I was hoping to return to work this week, but I don’t think I’m there yet, and Karen agrees that I shouldn’t rush it.

Last Wednesday, I met with my surgeon and was finally cleared to come out of the ortho boot. I’m now walking with an ankle brace. The day before that appointment, I actually ended up in the ER because of the pain I was experiencing in my leg. To give you an idea, the pain I deal with constantly is around an 8.5 out of 10 — a burning, aching pain that never really lets up.

The doctors prescribed muscle relaxers because much of the pain is coming from my calf muscle and lower leg. Most of my life I’ve had strong legs, so not being able to flex my calf muscle or feel much strength there is a strange and humbling experience.

Now that I’m out of the boot, I have to be extremely careful. A rolled ankle or bad fall right now could cause long-term damage. I’m walking slowly and cautiously, doing everything I can to protect it until my ankle is fully healed.

I appreciate everyone’s prayers, support, messages, and patience during this process. Recovery is taking longer than I hoped, but I’m trusting the process and taking it one day at a time.

What a weekend. I want to thank everyone who has participated in our Mission Impossible raffle so far! Without you this wouldn’t have been possible. We still have one more and the final trip in May when he will be done with Infantry……it was such a short and bitter sweet moment for us but we are so thankful for everyone who helped us.

❤️ SOMETHING SPECIAL IS HAPPENING IN OUR COMMUNITY ❤️

This Spring 2026, Cleaning Creations is launching a new community initiative called:

🧼 Clean Home, Fresh Start 🧼

Every month, we will be giving ONE FREE deep cleaning to a family or individual who truly needs it but may not be able to afford professional cleaning services.

Sometimes life gets overwhelming…
• Single parents working multiple jobs
• Seniors who can’t keep up with the house
• Families dealing with illness
• People going through difficult times

And sometimes a clean home can mean a fresh start.

✨ WE ARE TAKING NOMINATIONS NOW. ✨

If you know someone who deserves this, please nominate them.

👇 Comment below or send us a message with:
• Their name
• Their story
• Why they deserve a fresh start

We are also looking to connect with other cleaning companies, local businesses, and community members who would like to help us make an even bigger impact.

Together we can help more families in our community. ❤️

Because everyone deserves a clean home and a fresh start.

Thank you to everyone who has bought, shared, our Mission Impossible raffles, our clients always show up for us and we are truly appreciative. Couple things I want to note, yes you can give the ticket away as a gift. I had one person mention about using them as little gifts for Mother’s Day. Once again thank you.

Operation Mission Impossible- Family day
Many of you know that the first week of 2026, Me and Karen’s son Josias left for Basic Training in the Army. He’s been doing well.

We’ve talked to him just a couple times since he’s left as well as received letters just about every week. In his letters the biggest thing is how much he misses us. How much he wants to see us. The tears we have all cried are more than I ever would have imagined as a dad.

Next week, Josias will have his first ceremony (turning green) where he turns a US Soldier. The ceremony also comes with 4 days where he can spend time with us. Originally we were planning on attending his second graduation (turning blue) from Infantry but with the war that has been started, there is limited time for family time after the second graduation. They are being shipped to their base immediately after “Turning Blue” graduation. So next week is extremely important for us to attend. We don’t know the next time we will be able to hug him again.

To help alleviate some of the financial strain this is causing for us to go we are holding a raffle for a Deep Clean in the Fall of 2026. Karen had a surgery the second week of January they put her on restrictions for almost 2 months, I will be having a surgery in April that will put me out for at least two months as well. What a horrible time for surgeries!

$ 20/raffle ticket will get you one entry for the deep clean. The deep Clean will be valued at $500.
For any questions please send me a message. Thank you!

Hello, friends and family!

This year, we’re organizing a Black Friday sale with a purpose. Usually, I avoid sales for various reasons, but this year, things are different for our family.

Karen and I will both be undergoing surgeries in January. This is a significant milestone for us. Karen’s surgery is “life-changing,” and if you know what she’s been through for the past couple of years, you’ll understand the gravity of the situation.

I’ve finally received results and a plan for my foot and ankle. My recovery will be longer than Karen’s, although I believe her surgery is more crucial.

We’re organizing two types of Black Friday sales: deep cleans and regular cleans.

- Family plan deep cleans are priced at $150.
- Family plan regular cleans are priced at $140.

Deep cleans cannot be split up, while regular cleans can be divided into bi-weekly, monthly, or as needed.

This holiday season, please consider us when you’re looking for a gift for your family, friends, or even as a secret Santa. (Gift cards or certificates can be created.)

With our son heading to the army in January, our daughter finishing up her RN program, and our little one growing up rapidly, I’m terrified about what the future holds for our family early in 2026.

Both of our full recoveries are scheduled for a minimum of 6 weeks and a maximum of 12 weeks. I can assure you that we’ll be back to work as soon as possible (you already know this if you know us). However, to truly feel confident that we’ll make it through this season, we need your help.

I’m hoping to sell at least 20 Black Friday packages to provide us with financial stability from the time of our surgeries until we return to work.

If we reach 20 family plan packages sold, we’ll raffle off those who purchased a family plan package for another free 2-hour family plan!

We truly appreciate your support and understanding during this challenging time.

Hi Friends…

David here! I’ve finally gotten news for my foot injury and it looks like I’m going to be out the game for a while in 2026!

Im not sure what I will do, but in the next few weeks I’ll be coming up with a plan as I give myself time to process all of this. It’s been hard enough as it is, not being able to work without pain but im so ready to get back to normal!

So if you are new here and don’t know what happened. This last May I fell into a crack in a The City of East Lansing parking lot. Me thinking that I could just wrap it up and go home was not the right plan. I ended up at the emergency room a few hours later….and that was the start of many of my trips to the drs office. Since May I’ve went to Rehab, have had 4 X-rays, and a MRI done, it’s been quite the journey.
Yesterday, at the Ortho Suregon building, finally someone could tell me what happened.

I had a tendon come off part of my ankle bone (that actually broke off) that keeps my foot/ankle all intact. They were able to even show me, how I can’t even move my foot without help from my leg. My foot kinda shifts every time I walk, bc there is no tendon there. Crazy!!

Post surgery I will actually be out for about 8 weeks. 😔 This is extremely nerve wrecking for someone who has no clue how bills will get paid .
Even after 8 weeks I’m looking at another 8-12 weeks before I’ll be able to run again, but I’m looking at the finish line and saying by May (if surgery is in January) that I’ll be able to join and play with my boys on the soccer field!
If you don’t know, this past fall, me and David jr joined a soccer club where I was able to coach. The club is a Free soccer club for all. I wasn’t able to do much on the field bc of my ankle/foot but I’m so excited to know that this pain isn’t forever!!!

Anyways. There’s the news!!

Soccer pic from this past fall!
The boys went undefeated in their first year of Travel!

I messed my foot up pretty bad a couple months back but no matter how hard life gets you don’t stop doing what you were meant to do in this life. I’ve been giving alot of time lately to some amazing kids. Kids that need people. People like me and you. I I pick kids up and I drop them off for practices and games. I bring them waters and ice creams on hot days in the summer….the stories are amazing. Karen washes all the uniforms for the boys every week. Many of the families don’t have access to washers and dryers so it’s one less thing they have to worry about. I joined this youth soccer club as an assistant coach with Jr. It’s called Real Lansing FC. It’s a free youth soccer club for Lansing kids. We have 10+ teams in rec leagues, CASL leagues, and MSPSP (travel) and it’s all Free. With sponsors, donors, and volunteers.

Would you help me, help these kids? There’s soooo many ways we need help…even at the smallest level. Everything is relevant.
If you would, will you put in the comment, and I will connect with you…
