The rain may be gone, but before getting things back to normal, take a few minutes to check your home.

If your property experienced heavy rain or flooding:

🔎 Check outdoor HVAC units for debris or visible damage.
💧 If your HVAC or electrical equipment was exposed to floodwater, do not turn it back on.
⚡ Have water-exposed electrical components inspected by a professional.
🏠 Watch for lingering moisture and signs of mold or poor indoor air quality.

When in doubt, don’t risk it. TexAir can help make sure your HVAC and electrical systems are safe and ready to run.

Did you know? A dark, dirty-looking air filter isn’t always just dust.

Black or dark spotting—especially when paired with a musty odor—can be a warning sign of mold growth elsewhere in your HVAC system. The source may be inside the air handler, ductwork, condensate system or surrounding materials.

Dust and debris can build up on any filter, but suspected mold is worth taking seriously. Simply replacing the filter may not address the underlying source.

If something doesn’t look—or smell—right, call TEXAIR. We can help get to the source and keep your system running properly.

“People who didn’t call TEXAIR” is a list you don’t want to make.

A dirty air filter doesn’t just look bad. It can restrict airflow, reduce efficiency and put unnecessary strain on your HVAC system.

Regular maintenance can help catch small problems before they turn into costly repairs. If your system needs attention, don’t wait until it stops working.

Call TEXAIR and keep your system running the way it should.
