More and more of our jobs at Christy’s Cleaning Crew has been calls to clean out homes and properties that require roll off dumpsters to address hoarding situations.

And the more I do it, the more I want to refer these projects as “over accumulation jobs”!

We all simply work to earn money and opportunities, and we use these opportunities to live, pay bills, and honestly to over accumulate….And then one day…realize…we’ve got too much shtuff!!!

And then we realize that it’s a problem…and then one day, it will be our kids’ problem!

Today was bittersweet. A worker that had been here for years took flight today on her own journey…and Christy’s Cleaning Crew had to be without her.

When she first joined us, she was loud yet meek. She made it clear that she had no interest in any type of leadership position…but I’ve been bossing like a boss for a long time…and I knew there was potential for this young lady…

So I teamed her up with our current leaders at that time, and they hit it off!

Time went on, and this young lady began to glow as a Team Lead for our company and gained the confidence and understanding to one day run her own thing.

I’m proud to say that Holly Larosa turned in her resignation after 3 years working for Christy’s Cleaning Crew and will be doing her own thing and did so on professional terms.

She is no longer loud and meek.

She is now loud and proud!!!

I highly recommend her.

Christy’s Cleaning Crew constantly STAYS BOOKED. Yes, we are very good at this, but if it weren’t for your word of mouth, we’d not have seen this level of support, and many ppl would have never even heard of us.

But here we are, year 14, and I’m having to hire more ppl just to keep up with demand.

Our current up-tick is with realtors and individuals selling their homes. They find us attractive because we don’t just clean houses, but make properties more desirable.

Today we were privileged to work within one of Lampasas’ historic homes. The homeowner wanted a return to the classic look of unpolished floors after years of polishing layer after layer of floor polish.

This is scary territory for any floor guy, but we stepped up to the challenge and achieved splendid results. (After pictures only)

Over and over, I’m called to give a cleaning quote because somebody’s shower looks similar to this: that pink gel/film that forms in our showers, sinks, and bath tubs…it is unsettling.

Dear Lampasas,

I’m in this constant engagement with myself on how to improve. I own and operate Christy’s Cleaning Crew, and a large part of my job is spent on the phone.

Even though I can write eloquently, my spoken words are far from…attractive at times.

I get nervous. On the forefront of my mentality, I understand that what I say or do not say determines whether or not my bride or my workers gets paid.

And sometimes, while giving a quote, I revert back to when I was a boy, and I stutter.
I know my math. I know my measurements. I know what I’m doing, but THE PRESSURE OF GETTING IT RIGHT BECAUSE PEOPLE DEPEND ON ME is a lot!

I get over my hesitations, and somehow keep getting over my own doubts and insecurities.
