What a fun find!

Fall is an important time for both tick and rodent control. As temperatures drop, mice begin looking for warm places to spend the winter—often bringing them closer to our homes. At the same time, adult deer ticks are highly active in the fall. During their life cycle, these ticks may have already had multiple opportunities to feed on wildlife such as the white-footed mouse, an important reservoir for the bacteria that cause Lyme disease.

The common bridge - THE BIRD FEEDER!

That overlap makes fall an especially important season to think about both rodent prevention and tick management—not just for the home, but for the health of the people and animals who enjoy the property.

And that brings me to Kali and Tanya.

Kali is one of the most wonderful kids. She has this genuine excitement for nature, sports, learning, and simply being herself, without paying much attention to the social constructs telling her what she is "supposed" to like.

Her mom, Tanya, is an encouraging gardener with an enormous heart. The way she keeps her family grounded—teaching them to notice, appreciate, and love even the littlest things—makes her a monolithic influence, both inside her home and well beyond it.

They both mean so much to me!
